100 Clear 12 Cavity Quail Egg Cartons by Quail Egg Cartons with 100 Pcs Rubber Brands (1.4)

First of all, packing, and shipping time were excellent from this seller.However these particular cartons are poorly designed. I sell my quail eggs commercially, about 2-3 cartons out of 10 will actually snap closed. I have had customers complain about how the cartons won’t even stay closed for the ride home. They have 3 small tabs/buttons to “lock” the clamshell closed but the tabs will NOT snap. The tabs seem to crush before snapping. Also if the clamshell does snap closed, once you open it up you are unable to close it back. Customers can’t get just a few eggs and close the carton back. These clamshell cartons are slightly cheaper than other versions available, but what you save in money you will surely lose in quality.

purchased these cartoons despite some of the negative reviews, i figured sometimes folks just can't be satisfied and that I'd give them a try myself.big MISTAKE, and to be honest it's a shame they have the potential to be spot on, but the problem is they're slightly too small for anything but medium sized quail eggs if you have quail that lay a decent sized egg they don't fit.furthermore and this is what REALLY breaks the deal, the locking mechanism is CRAP. perhaps 1 or of every ten lock properly if at all, even then once you've locked it if you open it to get an egg it won't relock.I was so excited to find a nice looking quail egg cartoon on Amazon and now I'm totally disappointed. im trying to return them but since this is a third party i have to wait for a label then PAY to ship them back then WAIT for a reimbursement not just for the shipping from Amazon but for the product from the third party.i don't think ill buy from a third party again, to much nonsense to go through, if i purchased from a brick and mortar store id have my money already.TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED, BUYER BEWARE!

They hold the small to medium-large eggs very well. We have some hens that lay don't pretty large eggs and I learned very quickly not to put large ones close to the front. The lock-in buttons aren't the greatest seal and difficult to get together, so I'm really glad that they provide rubber bands. Well trying to use the lock-button with a large egg in the front created too much pressure and cracked the egg. Can still put it in the middle fine, just have pay attention a little more.

These do not close easily and seem a little too small to hold my quail eggs. They only have 3 closures in the front and I am lucky to get 1 of them to hold. Annoying to use and they are not secure at all. I will have to buy rubber bands to ensure my cartons stay closed so eggs don't fall out.

Cartons are too small for jumbo quail eggs. Have to tape lid closed.

The only reason this is getting a three star review is because the lids are an absolute pain to close, most of the time they will just pop back open and we have lost many quail eggs to the fridge door being open and the case falling out after the lid has popped back open. Otherwise these are sturdy and seem like they will last through many uses.

Do a nice job protecting quail eggs for shipment and since the material is sturdy plastic they can be easily washed and reused. Stay closed tight and secure. I like that they are clear and you can easily spot a cracked egg without opening them.

They work fine, but unfortunately they don't all close using the snaps. Now I know why rubber bands were included. I was pleased to see the egg cutters as well. That was a nice added surprise.
