Put batteries in the back of the controller with the negative end towards the sharp pointy spades in the controller, and the positive end towards the silver contact button at the opposite end of the battery holder. Put negative end in first per Wii instructions. The lights on the face of the controller will start to blink (you might have to have the press the "on" button on the controller for this to happen). To synchronize, turn on the Wii game Player, open the front door to the SD Card slot to access the red SYNC button.
