Bag Ups OXO Biodegradable Trash Bags, 17 Count

I have purchased this product often. The box only takes up about 3 inchesin the bottom of the can. The bag will actually flow around the box that itis sitting on top of when the bag is heavy enough. The unique dispensingpulls up the next bag so that you don't have to go and look for the next bagin a box somewhere else.The bags does not come with twist ties, but I just use the part of the bag I havefolded over the rim of the can to tie a knot before I pull up the bag. Thatpart of the bag was not being used to hold trash anyway. I believe twistties are not included because most are not oxo-biodegradable like the bagis, or recyclable like the box is. Just tying a knot keeps me from havingto go look for a twist ties somewhere else too.This product is unique from other trash bags. It is convenient, green,recyclable, made in the USA, and assembled by veterans and people withdisabilities. So every time I buy it and use it I feel like I am making adifference.

I bought these because I liked that they're biodegradable and made in the USA by vets. Practically, however, they don't deliver as much as they should.For one thing, the bag dispenser is the size of a Kleenex box. It takes up too much room at the bottom of my trash can. I just take the bags out of the box one by one, same as any other brand. Not super revolutionary.Second, the bags come with no drawstrings, flaps, or even twist ties. This doesn't make them impossible to use or anything, but it's more of a messy hassle--and I go through bags more quickly, because I take them out before they're all the way full so I can tie them off.Love the philosophy, but let's hope they make the product more practical soon.
