Programming your watering schedule is easy with the simple, straightward interface. Use the "How Long" dial to set frequency and the "How Often" dial to select run time. The Manual Water/Rain Delay dial allows for manual watering (for 3 to 90 minutes) or to postpone watering (from 24 to 72 hours). An indicator light blinks to confirm changes are made, so there's no need to second guess. The battery-operated timer signals when batteries are running low, and has a unique water-saving feature that turns the valve to the “off” position and stops the flow of water when batteries run out so water is not wasted. Drip irrigation systems are easy to customize, install, and operate. As part of a complete drip system, the Automatic Timer works with other Raindrip components for trouble-free watering solutions to help your plants grow and thrive. Raindrip is a leading manufacturer of drip and micro-irrigation solutions and the trusted brand of landscapers since 1972. Build, expand, or repair your system with our rigorously tested products designed to save you time and money. Review: Always come back to this, it always works - For the money this is a great value. Its simple and just works. It can't do varying schedules, but does great to water for X number minutes, every Y time interval. The on demand water for several minutes and the rain delay for a specific time works great without messing up the regular schedule. The metal casting attaching to the hose bib is a bit rough, so use plenty of sealing tape and plumbing dope. This is my third purchase in 5 years. Am I missing something?** A: Low batteries won't leave the water running. The timer needs power to open the valve but the valve will close itself otherwise. However, my timer had a damaged rubber diaphragm and that caused a 1 gallon/minute leak. Leaked silently for more than a week.t. That will add $100-200 to this months water bill. **Q: Does this unit have a waterproof cover?** A: There is a plastic cover for sale here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09D33RS9H It is not waterproof but will protect the dials from dirt, rain, and UV rays. **Q: Hi, will this work with a rain barrel? Thanks!** A: It needs to have water pressure to open and close the valve, so I doubt it will work with just gravity from the rain barrel. **Q: How does it know when it has rained and how much it rained in order to "delay"? How long does it "delay"?** A: It does not have a rain sensor. You have to turn a dial setting the rain delay for 24 -72 hours etc. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Always come back to this, it always works *by U***Y on September 8, 2026* For the money this is a great value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect watering controls *by F***S on October 1, 2026* Easy to install , easy to set up the proper water cycles and controls all my drip irrigation for all my berry plants, tomatoes roses etc etc ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple Set Up; Due to Water Pressure Impact, Best With 1 or 2 Sprinklers Only *by B***D on September 3, 2022* Great sprinkler/hose timer for the price. VERY easy to program and install, but limited in flexibility. Impacts water pressure and, therefore, coverage area and number of sprinklers you can use at once. Programming -- One dial turns for MANUAL START minutes or RAIN DELAY hours. Second dial turns to set NUMBER of CYCLES within a 24 hour period -- NO CLOCK -- so your 24 hour period begins whenever you turn this dial. If that's at 2:22 pm and you've chosen 2 cycles every 24 hours, you'll get watering at 2:22 am and 2:22 pm. The third dial turns to set NUMBER of MINUTES each cycle will run. Installation -- Slide 2 AA batteries into the tray, screw the unit onto your hose bibb, set a dial or two, turn on the water, and you're done. I appreciated that there was no spray or leaking at the attachment points. The Manual Start feature can be used during installation to test sprinkler reach and coverage area. BE AWARE that this unit reduced water pressure noticeably. I recommend installing it BEFORE placing and adjusting sprinklers. If you do this afterwards as I did, you may need to start sprinkler set up over due to reduced water pressure and its impact. With our faucet on full blast, there was only enough pressure to run two pulsating sprinkler heads. Distance was reduced by 2-3 feet and rotation speed went down as well compared to performance before the RainDrip timer was installed. This was the case even though we regularly run 4-6 rotator/spray heads per zone with our irrigation system. I'd buy this again if I only needed a sprinkler or two. ## Frequently Bought Together - Raindrip R675CT Analog 3-Dial Water, Sprinkler Timer with Rain Delay for Drip Irrigation, Garden, Self-Watering - Rain Bird HT07525PSI Drip Irrigation 25 PSI Pressure Regulator, 3/4" Female Hose Thread x 3/4" Male Hose Thread - Raindrip 016010T 1/4 in.
