Very pleased with this purchase,! :) It was a gift so I can't say how well the actual mug holds beer/other drinks. According to other reviews, I am confident that this will hold beer/ale without leaking. Mug arrived on time and in perfect condition. I've researched these mugs all over Amazon and this particular seller had the best reviews and I can see why. I agree with previous reviews that this mug is the highest quality of ox horn mugs, doesn't come smelling of cow dung, (other sellers have many complaints of this specific issue) and the price for this quality is just OUTSTANDING. Extremely pleased with this purchase and I will definitely be buying a few more of these from this seller. I have some "Vikings"/"Game of Thrones" fans in my family and well, who doesn't want to drink Ale out of an actual Ox drinking horn?!

I don't mind the color, it's very pretty actually, I just wish it as a bit more polished in the inside. It's so rouch and pockets of the horn that are peeling up where liquid is going to remain trapped in that I'm concerned about bacteria growing in there. My boyfriend belongs to a Brewers Guild and they taste each other's beers and give pointers. He had a smaller horn he used for tasting but stopped because of the same type of thing. Where this one was 4 times the price I hoped it would've been a great replacement. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do? I don't have time to return it and get a different one.

I bought this as a gift. My boyfriend absolutely loved it! The only down side....the burlap bag was not included. It took me forever to figure out who and how to contact someone about this. Once I did reach someone, they were not able to mail me the bag. However, they did give me a refund for the cost of the bag. All in all it was a great purchase, just wish all the contents were included.

I got the Tankard as a Father's Day gift, and was going to present it in the burlap bag that was SUPPOSED to come with it. No burlap bag. That was very disappointing.

I recieve my mug today and I love it. It has great color/ texture variation and is made nicely. I have tried another seller twice without luck in product so I was finally happy to find just want I wanted! The only thing is I never received the burlap sack that it says it comes with. Contacted the seller and if I am able to receive my entire product then it will be a 5/5.

It didn't have a burlap bag...…………..and I bought 2 of these within a short time. No biggie I just expected it because it said it had it.

There were some complications with the first mug I got. After the seller got back to me, they sent me another one to replace it and it is beautiful, much better than the first. I am a very satisfied customer.

This is beautiful. It is so well made and has stood up to the test of time. After a year of regular use, it is still perfect.Just make sure to get some beeswax for lining the inside so you can actually drink out of it.
