Simrad000-13334-001 Instru. Display, Is35 Digital Guage

I have a 230 WA Seafox with 2003 150 SW EFI 2 stroke Mercury Smart Craft compatible. My goal was to get rid of the all the analog dash items and have a digital dash that will display all the same functions in one display. After researching on boating forums I found that NMEA is the way to go or purchase all the Mercury items that will be at least $1000. I purchase a plug in from a company Fox Marine that plugs into the service port of the engine and connects engine function to NMEA network. With the IS35 I now can see rpm, engine temp ( I could not before), alternator volts, fuel burn( I could not before GPH), engine hours( I could not before) etc all going into the NMEA network.Next I purchase from purchase on Amazon a Lowrance NMEA fuel level sensor and plug that onto the existing connection to my tank. Now I have my fuel level on this device now with how much fuel is being burned. I keep my analog gauge installed for a bit to make sure I know how to read the digital and compare then I just removed the analog fuel gauge. With my Garmin Echomap on NMEA I can navigate to fishing grounds with RPM set to cruising speeds and now how much gas i will have left in the tank and how much I burned during the trip.Now I have a Rasberry Pi with a NMEA 2000 hat on it connected through the network that is used inside the cabin. I dont monitor anything in the cuddy but when anchored and in the cabin I can look at the network and configure stuff. The Rasberry Pi is also connected with a 9" screen to watch TV in the summer hours when I fish all night to get out from the bugs.Just like the cars now MPG boat we now our GPH. Old 2003 boat now has an upgrade!Highly recommend if you want to get rid of all those gauges.

It was exactly as advertised. In stallion was easy based on its standardized gauge size. Pretty easy to customize the different pages which I appreciated

So I held off on buying this due to the cost. At the end of the day I pulled the trigger. Straight forward installation- does what it claims and is an effective replacement for my 2016 Honda gauge.

GREAT UNIT FOR MERCURY TRACKING.. AND IT DOES SO MUCH MORE

I Purchased two of the IS35 display and had one of the units menu and up keys fail within 2 minutes. The display is bright and easy to read and I had no issues with interfacing on my N2K network. The seller would not take the bad unit for return and I have to send it to Navico for replacement. I guess I will have a spare in case another fails.
