The carbide tip from this product is far less durable than advertised. After 5 general uses the teeth on a high percentage were chipped off. I would understand if I was to be hitting metal, gravel or concrete. Purchase at your own risk. The product starts strong and you feel it is cutting super well but it is not much more effective and savings.

This is great chain. You will not have to sharpen it the life of the chain. I use this chain in the ground a lot which is why I buy and use it. It will reach the end of it's tension limit before it quits cutting (with reasonable care to avoid constant impact with rock).

Cutting old black olives - normal chains last about two cuts - this lasted two and half mature trees. Cost is higher, but the cut and durability is a no-brainer.

It doesn't last nearly as long as it ought - maybe twice as long at most. Since the cost is 4x it isn't really worth it. Sharpening it costs more than a new chain, and probably removes most of the carbide coating in the process.
