Scaleblaster SB-XX Water Descaler

I live in an area where the city-supplied water is hard and leaves hard water marks on my shower glass and mineral build up on my faucets. I tried ScaleBlaster because I didn't have room for a softener. My shower glass is spotless and the build up is gone. Just my experience. I'm buying another for my second water heater.

We have a tankless water heater at home. This project works great. The improvement on the washing machine and hair feeling smoother is not very noticeable as our water quality wasn't that bad to begin with. But we can definitely see a difference from the water heater and bathroom sinks

i tried this and it does not work my new faucets look as bad as the previous ones with no scaleblaster. Save your money look into other options.

I do not have this product but have been in contact with the company because my plumber told me about this system as an alternative to a salt based system. Based on reviews and lack of good evidence on the web that this is not a scam, I contacted the company to ask how much the water hardness level should be reduced by this product. The response I got was that ScaleBlaster will not lower the hardness level since the calcium molecule that causes the hardness remains in the water and that it "conditions" the water and prevents the calcium from adhering to itself and other hard surfaces keeping pipes, appliances free of scale build-up. He ended it with "please have faith..."! Faith? I'm supposed to spend this much money on faith? I replied and asked how I am supposed to verify that this system is doing anything if water hardness tests don't apply and that I can't see spending so much based only on subjective criteria where personal opinion seems to be the only thing reviews are based upon. His response to this: "If you need absolute irrefutable evidence that it is working this is probably not the system for you." and "There are thousands of people who have discovered that it works very efficiently...but it is a subjective determination.". The word subjective means "based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions". I'm looking for a system that will work based upon reality, not personal feelings. Maybe other people can, but it seems as if the success of this system is based upon the placebo effect and skeptics will likely believe it's not working while supporters believe it is.

The "scientific" basis of this device is patently absurd, using a lot of technical-sounding words to impress the naive. Save your money and file this one under pyramid power, magic crystals, and spirit boxes. And go take a course in basic chemistry and electronics. What nonsense - PT Barnum was right.

Love this product. Was easy to install. No more hauling salt. My skin and hair have never felt better. Works great!

Do these really work ? I'm on well water w/ 26 gpg of hardness . All types softeners I have read about mostly clam the same basicthing. I have removed 2 gallons of calcium scale for a electric heater tank .after a remodel job we install a tanks system in the rear of the house. it lasted a year I'm on my third one now, i need to fix the water...give me some good inputJGB Piedmont OK..
