Ohio Stoneware 10" Shoulder Bowl

There are so few pottery items made in the USA any more. I love the design and look. It is a heavy bowl but I like the sturdiness of it. It looks like it was made on the early 1900's. Very retro looking.

This bowl makes an excellent bread proofing bowl. Thicker walled stoneware makes for even temperature.

This bowl is now my favorite for letting bread dough rise. The bowl is as described, stoneware quality is excellent, and the packaging was impressive... it was like they were daring UPS to chip or crack them!

The bowl is beautiful but the description is deceptive. I bought this thinking I was getting a 12 but instead I received a 10.

This is a nice, old-fashioned bread bowl. I bought it for my wife after I dropped and broke the precious one she’d had for years. She likes this one better.

I love this bowl. It is heavy, so you have to be prepared for that, however, the heaviness means that the bowl is just absolutely solid, and will not move when mixing, kneading, etc. I looked a lot of places to find a bowl like this, and I'm just very pleased with it.

This was my birthday gift. It couldn’t be more perfect. It’s beautiful and I love using it for mixing dough and other things.
