We disposed of these and bought Joseph Joseph Grip Non-Slip Serving Trays, which have a non-slip surface across the entire tray.Original review:These trays are sturdy, hold their shape and are well-designed to carry a plate or bowl and a glass (or whatever you'd like to place on the indented areas. But if you place something on the tray outside the indentation that has the non-slip material, whatever you place there will slide around.
