For real quality cables, for real value for coin~age π
I really like these cables, I got my Yamaha HS8 studio monitors one at a time, so was running my first one with this cable for a couple weeks, and was really great sound, quality made, and after getting my 2nd HS8 yesterday, bought another one of these cables. I had a really el cheapo short cable with dull sound. Soon as the cable arrived earlier, I switched the old crappy cable out for this one, and now both monitors have kick @zz sound. Both monitors are in corners of my lounge and created boom ting bass, an means I donβt gots to buy the Yamaha subwoofer, the two HS8βs with the two of these balanced cables sound amazing, from basic audio playback, to watching TV, and all the other benefits of music creation, production and mixing.....nice one again Amazon πππ

Bad quality
I ordered these to replace 1/4 to 1/4 cables( I got these for free with speakers themselves so they're not some top shelf cables). I need to replace these as I want to connect my active monitors to the USB interface using XLR.The amount of noise coming from these cables makes them unusable. It's not a little hiss. Crackling hissing to the point where I have to turn the speakers up so I can hear the actual sound.Look elsewhere. I can not imagine what these would be good for.

Good value cable for XLR to Jack
I'm no expert but the Belgium-based 'Stagg' seem to have earned a good reputation as a reliable brand name in the music world with good quality products, often at the low-budget end of the price range. I have a few Stagg items and so far have been more than satisfied with what they provide. This cable allowed me to hook my digital piano up to a sound system without the need for multiple clunky adapters.A common mistake with this item is ordering the wrong XLR 'gender' so make sure you know if you need a male or female end to your XLR cable.

Bought 5 for the church band. Used with bass, guitars, piano. (running through an XLR snake to a mixer) Each and every one of them was sporadic/faulty. One of the pins on one of them was pushed in at time of unpacking and had to be pulled out with pilers (not a good start). The others would cut in and out during services (also no good). 3 Cables don't work at all. I've sent them all back and am going for a higher quality cable. Really disappointed with this product. (tested all other equipment to try and isolate fault - came back to cables each time)

Cheap
Not really up to professional Gigging like we do so had to get something else but would be ok for practice. Bought a couple and they did t last long. We do bail stuff mind - gets chucked in the van and generally abused so if you treated it with a bit more care they'd probably be ok. Dave (pretend poets band)
