Tick-b-gone
We live in "tick country" on 23 acres in the Ca. foothills about 6 miles above Coloma (that is where gold was first discovered in Ca). This time of year ticks are real problem. Any time we are out we use 40% "deet" spray on our clothes and still manage to catch one from time to time. My wife had one attached and ended up at the Dr. just to be on the safe side. Most ticks do not carry lyme disease but we like better safe than sorry. We received the Amber Crown Herbal Flea & Tick Spray for dogs about 3 weeks ago. We walk Annie, our boxer dog, several times a day and she always picked up ticks so we decided to try this since deet is bad for dogs. The first day out she picked up one tick, since then none. So for about three weeks, no more ticks. The first time we used it we just sprayed her, now we spray and pet it in, that seems to give better coverage and, of coarse, she loves the attention. Thanks for a product that works as described.

Great Product
Loved this spray so much that I bought a bottle for my friend's lab. My rottie has no skin irritation from the spray and there is no weird residue left on his coat. The smell is not too overpowering and dissipates shortly after use. Best of all, I have not had a flea problem since the day I started use.

No nozzle, somewhat effective.
Fewer fleas and ticks, but still have the battle. Did not come with a spray nozzle- had to buy a bottle.

Poor package
Smells nice and works to repel insects, gave it a 3 because bottle was leaking when I received the package, just a small amount, and I thought nothing of it. Now large amounts leak if bottle falls over, so a pain to use and almost gone after about a dozen uses

Very strong smell
This stuff works pretty good. I would give it 5 stars but deduct one for how strong the smell is. I can't quite describe the smell. My dogs were sneezing like crazy and left. The smell is potent and lingers for a while but does die down. It's kind of a cross between a menthol, mint and strong Mr. Clean pine smell is the only way that I can describe it. I could even smell it the next day. I have dust mites on my dogs bedding and they itched a lot less after using this. It is not a chemical that is bad for their skin so that is a good thing. I use this in conjunction with this shampoo Sentry Pro Flea and Tick Dog Shampoo, 18-Fluid Ounce and have had great luck with this regimen. You can subscribe to the shampoo and save some money too.

I sprayed it on my dog and he actually smelled good! I have also used it on my couches ...
I was a little apprehensive to try this product since I have used a similar spray that used natural ingredients to repel fleas but the scent was so strong with that one that even I didn't want to be around my dog. I was pleasantly surprised by the light citrus smell of this one. I sprayed it on my dog and he actually smelled good! I have also used it on my couches and my dog's bed and it seems to be working. I have been using this and an amber crown collar on my dog for the past few weeks and have noticed a dramatic decrease in fleas and we live in San Diego so it is always flea season.

Smells nice and a good preventative to use year round.
I originally purchased the amber crown collar. I'm not 100% sure if it worked/working. I use organic flea shampoos and organic flea and tick sprays along with this amber crown flea and tick. Her itching wasn't sever this summer so she may not have had fleas when starting to use the spray.I think regardless its a great herbal preventative that you can spray on your dog weekly. I bath her weekly and sprits it on her body.It smells nice and it doesn't linger or make her greasy.* Received this free for my review.
