Decent Product but assembled height measurement is inaccurate
I am pleased with the strength and stability of this frame. I'm really glad I read all of the reviews about how difficult it was to assemble and how terrible the instructions are. They are not wrong. But fore-warned is for-armed and I was very meticulous to study the parts and how it should go together before I started and it went together well. Build it where you plan to keep it. My main complaint is that it was advertised as a finished height of 7.6 inches and the actual finished height was 13.5 inches. That's still the shortest out there, but I really was looking for something VERY low profile to keep the mattress off of the floor vent, but lower than the window sill. Fortunately, my daughter is OK with the height, so I don't have to disassemble and return.

headache in a box
Purchased this for my new Queen Mattress. Item got held up in shipping and was a week late, but i was not upset about that. Once i opened the box, i knew this was going to be an ordeal to assemble. The directions are VERY unclear, blurry, and confusing as can be. The count on all the items in the box was incorrect (i used my own hardware - its a must), and the tools provided are aluminum and bend within seconds (forcing you to also use your own allen keys and 10mm wrench). The paint on at least 20% of the pieces had pealed off in transit. Much more will flake off during assembly. After 2.5 hours of assembling and dissembling to fix errors, you are left with a low sitting frame that truly requires no box-spring, but absolutely needs a headboard to fit a room properly. After more research, i realized most queen mattresses are 2-3 inches shorter than this platform. So, if you do not have a headboard, it will stick out in the room, and you will be banging your toes against the 3 protruding legs constantly. I would return this in a heartbeat if i didn't have to disassemble and pack it. Will absolutely be replacing soon. very disappointing.

You get what you pay for
The design of the frame allows the mattress to easily slide around on the frame.Otherwise it seems sturdy enough for it's price. However the slipping and sliding can be potentially dangerous as I have almost rolled off onto the floor once as I was leaning on one side of my mattress it shifted towards the opposite side.Nonetheless I got what I paid for a simple frame so I don't have to sleep at floor level.

Not Perfect, but....
4/23/17 Update: The bed is holding up quite well. My only disappointment is that I just tried to order another one for my other son, but was informed it's not in stock and it's not known when/if it ever will be. I'll be checking other sites to see if I can find one.I think the one I received was a return item, as when I pulled the pieces out, all of the zip ties which had been holding the parts together had already been cut (see the pic), the metal pieces were scratched, and there were three nuts and one bolt missing (I found suitable replacements in my bucket of old bolts). The directions could be a little more helpful and factual. They don't mention that four of the bolts are longer than the others (they're used for the middle section). Also, it would be nice if the parts were labeled, as the side pieces were initially difficult to distinguish from one another, and are not interchangeable. Now assembled, the bed seems quite sturdy (a must for my bed-busting autistic son), though I am concerned that the mattress will slide off easily. I'll update this review as needed.

worthless
When we received our frame the zip ties were already cut that were holding the pieces all together. There were no directions or hardware. The box it came in was cut open and taped back shut. I am demanding a refund... ridiculous!

Would've been great, but mistakes were made...
The overall quality of the product was good. Square steel pieces made me feel like it would be a very strong frame that wouldn't bend or flex at all.But sadly, after assembling the frame, I discovered the center slats that are meant to span across the frame to support the mattress were too short to be held in place at all. There are small cradles welded into the sides of the frame, where the slats are made to sit, but they are about a full inch short of being able to sit in the cradles on either side to be held in place.
