2-Stage Propane Tank Regulator with 2 Pigtail Hoses

Great 2 propane tank regulator! It was hard for me to choose something other than the stock regulator valve, but so far I am glad I choose this one! It arrived with the two Quality rubber hoses attached, and it was easy to install. It did not seep any propane as the 8 year old valve it replaced did. I came back 2 days after installing it to double check it, and when I opened my propane covers door, and gave it the old "Sniff Test" I could not smell ANY propane. I created a soap solution when I installed it, and it had Zero bubbles from anywhere. (My previous regulator made slow bubbles out of a vent hole / port). I operated the tank selection switch and it worked fine - without loosing propane flow to the stove burner that I left burning inside the trailer. (It stayed lit). Now if it only swaps tanks automatically as it should, and lasts 8 years or more - time will tell - that will be the ultimate test! I will update this review if it does not automatically switch from an emptied tank, to the full one.

Installed it and it worked fine. Old regulator on recently purchased RV leaked around a plug in the housing. Quality of product is mediocre but tolerable. If there was an easy upgrade it would be preferable to switch to a more robust unit. Cost of losing 15 lb of propane from leaking unit easily justifies a higher quality unit, as well as the danger of volatile gas leak .

Arrived fast, installed easy and works great. I bought this to replace my original one on my "2008' travel trailer.It fit perfectly.

A well-designed package that is less expensive and better laid out than the other options I have seen. My original purchase failed after just a few weeks of use but the seller was happy to send me a replacement. Quality control is never perfect, if the replacement lasts, I'll update this review to 5 stars in a few months, but for my money, a company that stands by their products is at least as important as the product itself.

For some reason, many of these don't come with a bracket, which means it just dangles between your tanks putting stress on the lines. This pairs perfectly with a dual propane tank holder as it is supported by the center pole. With as little propane as I use and two 30-gallon tanks, my need for the auto-changeover feature is nearly nonexistent, but it's nice to know it's there, so I don't have to worry about food in my propane fridge going bad or the heat failing to work on a cold day when I don't even feel like going outside. The hoses and unit itself seem to be excellent quality - I definitely prefer this over the more expensive and minimal standalone 2-stage regulators I was able to find locally.

Worked great! Used my oven 2 times the first day it was installed..... haven’t used my oven in 2 years.....

May have been an isolated incident, but it failed by developing a large gas leak....this unit was bought in January 2019. It has a 1 year warranty, however the replacement of the unit by the seller is not the issue here, only the communication of a potentially catastrophic failure. And yes, the unit was under a tank cover for protection against the elements.
