They're a nice material, but too small for a medium dog water bowl. The mat doesn't go out enough around the bowl, so water still goes on the floor. They would be good for small dog bowls. Wish you could choose the color & design. I ended up returning them because of the size.

Super cute pet food mats and environment friendly! I always had problems of my cat trying to move around her food and flipping it over! The worst is when she tries to flip her old water fountain and spill water all over the our wood floor! I am very happy with this product because this helped me a lot in terms of washing towel and cleaning the floor everyday. This provides really good grip and very safe to use around my cat even if accidentally she would try to bite and eat the mat the company said that it wouldn't be harmful for pets. It doesn't have any strong rubber smell or plastic smell on it. I normally hand wash my cat's bowl and food mat and it is very easy to clean! I would highly recommend this to all pet parents out there!! I did received this product at discounted price in return of my honest and unbiased review!!!

I found a bone shaped mat by Lava Rubber at Home Goods and bought it because looked cool. I quickly became obsessed with it and practically scoured the earth to find more but could not. Today I saw an ad on Instagram saying they were available on Amazon. I'm looking for another bone shaped one but wanted to let the world know that these products rock. If someone knows where to find the bone shaped one, can you tell me? Thanks!UPDATE 5/7/16I cannot express my love and admiration for this company any more. Somebody who knows what's going on from LavaRubber contacted me and set me up with the bone shaped placemat x 3. Now my dogs can both eat in style and my floors will remain dry.
