The Thomas Kinkade artwork is great and the heat activation is cool :0USPS too forever to deliver it (nearly 2 months) but that is not the fault of the supplier as it shipped in a timely fashion and arrived at the local USPS distribution center quickly - then languished there for weeks despite repeated requests for an update. Just mention it if you are thinking of a gift for a specific date.Slightly disappointed with a very small white chip on the black handle, but after waiting for so long it wasn't enough to warrant asking for a replacement.

I gave the mug as a gift to my good friend. She was not sure at first, but once she put hot water in it and saw the picture, she loved it. As people arrived later in the day, my friend would show them her new Micky mug (which was just a black mug at that time). Then she would add hot water, and amaze her friends. The mug was worth every penny I paid for it when I saw the smile on my friends face.Just a note: the first time or two, the mug takes a little while to morph. After that, it works pretty fast.

I followed the directions and never once put it in the microwave or dishwasher, yet crack started the form on the interior of the cup just from the hot coffee. Although the heat activating design is cool, cracks forming are worrisome. Although when you run your finger along the cracks they appear to be fine enough where they are unnoticeable. Buyer beware.

I bought this to indicate if my tea was still drinkable or already cold, since I broke my last color changing mug. This will only change the color of boiling water is poured into it, so don’t even attempt to rinse it with hot water in the kitchen sink to see the effect. Useless

I put hot water in it and it works great; It's about the same size as the other mugs you'd get at the store and the image shows up just fine.

I ordered this for my mother who is a huge Disney fan. The mug is completely black when it is cold. Once you put hot liquid into the mug, the picture appears. They colors are bright, and they remain for as long as the mug is warm from the hot beverage. My mom really enjoyed it, and I will probably order others to use as gifts.

I bought it as a gift for my husband for his coffee but he likes much larger mugs. The design also doesn't wrap the entire mug. Cute but probably wouldn't buy this size again.

It was a really great gift and we absolutely love this item. I wish the colors were just slightly more vibrant, but overall a really clear image and super creative. Would definitely buy more and would definitely buy again.

Nice picture, however hairline cracks appeared inside the mug after using for 2 weeks. I bought 2 mugs and both had hairline cracks. Did not push in dishwasher or microwave. Unsure whether this is a batch problem.
