I like that it's light and great for styling. And that it is simple to use I don't have to spend to much time on my hair now, however on the downside my hair doesn't stay, after maybe 5 hrs it doesn't hold depending on my day.

This product is great but I had to use so much each time to get the best results. That would be fine if these was cheaper. I like it though. Hard to give it up.

I have naturally curly hair and it's been a lifelong struggle to find a hair product that doesn't leave my hair crunchy or frizzy. I lived in San Francisco and went to the Hair Play salon to get my hair cut, and when the stylist used the Set #2 on my hair I fell in love with it! Even better that the owner developed this product specifically with curly hair in mind. I went there for a few years and I'm so glad that even though I've moved across the country I can still order this amazing product online! I won't use anything else and am so glad to have a product that is perfect for defining my curls without drying them out or being too heavy. Highly recommend!

This is the BEST hair product I have ever used. I have had natural hair for about 10 years, and struggled to find something that worked with my hair for about 7. Then I started using Set#2 and Set#3 (in combination). I have never looked back. It somehow manages to moisturize my hair without leaving it greasy or heavy, and it does not leave any residue. It also smells wonderful (seriously - people always tell me how good my hair smells). And, most importantly, it makes my hair look great. People never complimented me on my hair until I started using this product, and now random strangers tell me how much they love my hair and ask me what I use. Even my mother thinks my hair looks great now. I literally don't know what I would do if Fritz stopped making this product. I would probably have to shave my head. It's that good.

I had the opportunity to use SET 2 & 3 on many different occasions and I have to say the results were consistently amazing. I haven’t come across anything like it and I’m a major product junkie!! This is my go to product! I have 3c/4a curls and my hair tends to get frizzy from all the highlights and color processing but SET always manages to keep my frizz & curls in check. It gives me hair that lasts 3-4 days and the application process is very simple. Section your hair and finger through, that's it. No crunchy, flaky curls, just beautiful soft bouncy hair. Ladies this is must try for all curly girls, trust me you won't be disappointed!

I went to HairPlay for years after I found out they specifically work with mixed hair. Every stylist at the salon is amazing. They came out with this product after I had been there for about 2 years (previous they used it but it was not "officially" created yet). I will ONLY ever use Set on my hair ever again. EVER. It keeps it bouncy with soft, NON-FRIZZY curls. I now live on the east coast in the south. This will hold my hair all day in the summer, no joke. A touch of anti-frizz hair spray while still wet on top of it and it's perfect. I am so happy they ship to me. I miss San Francisco!!!!!

I have been using Hair Play's SET #2 AND #3 for years and am totally devoted to it. Finding the perfect product for a lot of curly yet fine hair was impossible....until I found SET.Using a ratio of 2:1 combine SET #2 and SET #3 in a foam pump bottle for everyday use with my air dried curls. SET keeps my curls soft and defined, never frizzy. Of course it helps that I never use a comb or brush on my hair after rinsing out my conditioner.When I blow out my hair or use big rollers for a looser curl SET #3 keep the style perfect and never stiff.Thank you Hair Play!

I have the pleasure of having Fritz Clay at HairPlay as my actual stylist extraordinaire. Absolutely love the entire suite of Set products. I use them to keep my hair together as well as my toddlers. It's lightweight, it DOESN'T FLAKE, and it moisturizes and gives my hair shine and amazing definition. Certainly the holy grail of natural hair products. For the record, I'm a 4C (african-american) curl pattern, super thick/fast growing hair. Working in a corporate environment, I MUST keep my hair looking professional at all times and Set makes it happen!
