Gelish MINI Essentials Gel Nail Manicures Bundle – Basix Kit, 9mL

I’ve used the GELISH system before, so I already knew I loved the results, and this little kit did not disappoint. It’s a great starter kit because it comes with everything you need to get started in one package, and my nails always come out looking shiny, strong, and salon quality. The kit itself is compact and smaller than I expected, but it still has all the essentials. I would recommend also picking up a small bottle of 90% isopropyl alcohol and some lint free wipes for prep and clean up. Overall, I think this is a great value, especially for beginners or anyone wanting to do their nails at home. My nails feel so much stronger when I use this system, and the manicure lasts really well for me.

I love gelish products and getting it through Amazon is better and cheaper

I have used this twice now. The first time it was a little difficult since the consistency of the gel nail polish is different than regular nail polish. The polish started to peel about 10 days after since some of the polish landed on my cuticle which doesn't give it a good seal. Second time, I knew what to expect. They came out beautiful. I just did them 3 days ago so I don't know how long they'll last but they look pretty solid. Removing them is easy. I broke the seal by using a 180 grit file soaked them for about 10 minutes. I needed to use an orange stick to peel it off but I can tell you it was a lot easier then the ones done in the salon. I highly recommend this kit. Good place to start that isn't too expensive to start doing gel nails at home.

I bought the NailUV starter kit from Costco and was having lots of trouble with my polish lifting and peeling. I was about to give up on gel polish but decided to give Gelish a try since it seemed pretty universally loved. Now I understand why. Not only was the system MUCH easier to work with, consistency wise, I have also had a much better result. The finished manicure looks loads better and 48 hours in, shows no sign of lifting, peeling, etc., which the NailUV stuff already had. The NailUV led light works great through, and was still worth the $30 spent at Costco. However, from now on, I'm a Gelish girl. Love this stuff!

I liked this set as a starter for doing my own gel manicure at home. My only complaint is the nail polish remover is not the greatest. The first time I removed gel polish I used dollor store acetone and it came off fast with only 10 min soak. The last two manicures I tried to remove with the polish remover in this kit took 30-40 min with multiple soaking to get the gel off. The base and top coat work fine with multiple brands of color gel polish. No tackiness and nice hard finish that last at least two weeks.

I have been using Gelish products for several years. This set was to replace a few products I was running low on, and was a MUCH better price than I could find anywhere else. The products are genuine replacements. Everything works well and arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to do their own nails at home as long as you have or plan to purchase a curing light! The foundation/top coat will not dry without a curing light.

I love this product. It has everything you need to begin doing your own nails with the Gelish light. Don’t forget to buy a color you adore.

This is a great product, you get all you need for a great price, I don't think you can get all these products for less than this price. I have tried them and they work excellent. And if you only do your own nails this kit will last you a long time. You can also mix them up with gel polishes from other brands and still work really good and last the same as if you were using only gelish products. The only thing missing here that would make this the greatest kit would be if it came with cleaning pads, but I guess you can't have it all, right?? Just make sure you follow the instructions to the t. :)

The size is excellent for personal use
