I purchased this item as a gift to my son for Christmas, right out of the box it is a shiny fire designed blue coding, with blue and white props for the front and back. Its a palm sized quad copter with no need of assembly. First the battery needs to be charged, this takes from 45 mins to 1 hour. After that you need to pair the controller to the drone, now its ready to fly. At first lift off you will notice some drift either left or right but it handles staying put for a while. After flying and charging the drone a couple times I noticed the charger no longer illuminating which indicates a successful connection and charge, this was worrying, I kept it plugged in just to check if it was still charging or not. I unplugged it, no feedback, I emailed Hubsan to see if they could tell me what was wrong. They told me they would reply when possible, about 24 hours later they responded, I was surprised with there offer, they not only sent a new charger but a new quad copter packaged and all. I received my drone around the same time as the other and unboxed it only to find an identical drone with a different camera. It preformed the same and never failed to charge. I recommend this item to other beginners in the drone industry wanting a simple drone with a working camera (decent quality). The biggest problem I have with my new drone is the controller and drone calibration, they never seem to stay connected, I just wasted a whole battery trying to connect them as it is very complicated. Got the kids a gift for Halloween. Couldn't resist a quad that has a camera! Design and construction, are great. The only maintenance we've had to do is replace the blades every now and then when one of the kids hits the wall.Flying this drone is fun. It's a good thing for beginners, not so much for experienced pilots. The quad itself feels well built, with decent power. It's capable of doing flips and rolls, but only through the preprogrammed button sequence. Very forgiving - leveling is quick.We have several drones. One which is considered higher end (supposedly) than the Hubsan H107C. This Hubsan drone is extremely stable and easy to fly. I like the lightweight and compact design compared to my bigger drones. A big plus is the camera inside the body and not underneath hanging, so in the event of a rough landing, no need to worry about the camera or gimble damage.Overall I am very pleased, I would highly recommend it, for a beginner to a pro flyer. There is a manual included in the box, so setup is super simple. Definitely read it and learn to drone and functions. I can 100% guarantee after reading some of the bad reviews most were a result of user error because they didn't take the time to learn the proper setup and controls to operate. I spent an hour learning and reading and first time in flight with 100% confidence.

Nice starter quadcopter. Highly recommended for beginners that want to start flying without worrying about breaking the bank with more expensive quadcopters. Start with this, fly it until you outgrow it and then move to a faster racing drone or up to the larger photography drones. it is pretty fast and has crashed multiple times without breaking completely. Have had to replace the blades a few times after running into the wall, but that is exactly why to buy this small starter quadcopter. I bought the crash pack to go along with this but have only used the spare blades. Have not used the camera feature in the device yet, so I cannot comment on image quality. Battery lasts about 5minutes and lights blink on device as a warning to land before the batteries die completely. Recommend buying a set of four or more spare batteries and charger so you can fly, change battery, and keep flying. Enjoy!

This quad arrived USED!!! The props were beaten up. Half of the replacement props gone. But the biggest give-away was that the controller had batteries in it! They NEVER come with batteries. I would know because I have ordered several of these before. I am not returning it (yet) because it flies like it should and I wanted this specific color. (Generally love Hubsan products) And I got it at a good price. But somebody screwed up and I still want my NEW quad.

I started with the H108 which I flew off and on for a couple months. Got this one on sale mostly because of the camera. I will say the camera quality is ok, but there is of course no stabilization whatsoever. As it turns out, there are other benefits to this H107 compared to my old H108. The motors on this one are larger and seem smoother. It's got more power for fast circuits around the yard which is quite fun. It also seems slightly more stable than the H108 - probably because this one weighs a bit more. The one thing I this doesn't have is the plastic guard that fits around the four props. For that one reason I would say this is not for the first time quad flyer. Other than that, it's pretty nice. Btw the color is really nice.

First, the product is cool and seems to work as described. The issue I have is with the instructions: they're confusing. They talk about Mode 1 and Mode 2 without any reference as to why two modes exist; seems to me the only difference is the controls are reversed. Then there's the special, "important notice" that was obviously either not proofread, or was written by someone whose English is their second language . . . a very distant second.If you're getting this as a Christmas gift, I recommend you open the package and get everything going beforehand. Exploring how to get this going was not exactly "the fun part."Oh, contrary to other reviews, it does not come with an M-SD card. The package contents on this site doesn't say that it does, but in case you were expecting to find one.

Lets start by saying only a 4 star simple cuz the altitude hold is a joke as in none at all if fixed than a 5+ stars.. Other than that this little fella is quick even in beginners mode. Absolutly love it. I dont recomend for someone with no flight experience to fast and very sensitive controls. Pretty tuff as well. My fave ro zip around. Pretty decent cam quality.
