**Q: what is a oem  fender flare**
A: OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer, and is usually in reference to parts that came with the vehicle from the factory, as apposed to "Aftermarket" parts.   Fender Flare = An extension of the vehicle fender typically around the lip of the wheel well, fender flares provide additional coverage protection from the tires slinging stuff up for the side of your vehicle especially when using wider or oversized tires.  Bushwhacker is an Aftermarket fender flare manufacturer, visit their website and you will figure it out quick, they have lots of pics.

**Q: Do i have to remove any of the factory molding to i stall these? Besides fender flares.. i dont have the flares**
A: I did not have to remove any factory installed molding or trim. I have the chrome package, and all that fit fine. The only challenge I found, you have to drill a hole for the flap, and then screw it in with the supplied screw.  I found the screw to be soft and easy to damage its face. So, I had some black paint on hand to touch that up. The protection film in my case was not the best at sticking to the truck. But, I made that work. Stu

**Q: I have OEM flares but after market rims and tires so no?**
A: No.  Not designed for fired fenders.  At least that's what the description reads.

**Q: The 2nd picture makes these look quite large.  How far do they extend below the tire well?**
A: Probably 8” or so
