I'm not sure if it would answer your needs, but here it is. Measure your canvas height and width then multiply them by each other to get the square inches. Multiply the square inches by 0.1 to get the ounces needed to cover your canvas. To convert to grams, multiply the ounces by 28. This is only a rough guide as the paint consistency will affect coverage, i.e., the thinner the paint, the fewer ounces needed. **Q: What is the effective difference between normal matte medium and the matte fluid medium?** A: The normal matte medium will only produce a matte effect on the paint.
