Great ready to use butyl sealant tape and is plenty thick
Bought this stuff to fix up (or rather rebuild) a nonexistent vapor barrier in my car door. Seems that the previous owner ripped out the vapor barrier and never replaced it. So I bought this butyl tape and some vapor barrier material from home depot (the stuff in large rolls for homes) and got to work. Trimmed the vapor barrier to the shape of the door, use this butyl tape around the edges and no more condensation on the window when it rains! This tape is wonderful. Sticks very well to both the metal of the door and the vapor barrier material. Gave me an OEM finish for the vapor barriers.Only bit of info to note is that 1) the butyl tape is very very sticky and 2) you can stretch it out a bit when applying it. As for point 1), just note that this butyl tape will stick to anything. As such I do not recommend you apply this stuff without gloves. And if at all possible, handle it and stick it with the wax paper backing that they have lining the thick roll of butyl. Also if you get this butyl tape bunched up on itself, it will almost certainly not unwind from that. So be careful as it is very very sticky. As for point 2) I found the best result was to stretch the butyl tape so it became slightly thinner before applying it to my car door. This not only allowed me to do two doors using about less than a half of the roll, but i found the slightly thinner gauge was more appropriate for the door. Regardless, whether you stretch it out or not, the tape works great, but by stretching it out you can save a bit of material for the next time.

Good headlight sealer
Worked a treat on re-sealing my headlights.Put them in the oven at 150 for 5 mins then push the lens and body together and job done 👍🏻. Don’t be tempted to go hotter or longer as you’ll distort the lens or body.

Sellado perfecto, manejo delicado
