Pretty darn good
Ok first the pros.Pros:1) It definitely extends the range of detecting wifi networks. Went from about 5 or 6 networks being seen, to like over 20.2) Having both a DC and AC adapter is GOLDEN for RVs. Granted, if you are at a campground that has wifi, more than likely you will have electric hookups, but I can see boondocking in a Walmart parking lot with a McDonald's/Starbucks across the parking lot and having DC power would be ideal for not having to run the generator3) Hookup, configuring and connecting was a breeze...I am an IT guy so that might be taken in to consideration4) The antenna, USB cable, inside booster, etc all seem to be VERY well made.Cons:1) This is really my only con, after hooking up the booster and configuring everything, I tested the speeds using the normal SpeedTest app on my phone. Side by side tests without even moving from a chair in the house with the antenna sitting right next to me. Initially, the speed difference was HORRIBLE...went from 15-18Mb down/ 7-10MB down to like 2-3Mb down/ 1-2Mb up. Looked online and saw a firmware upgrade for the unit, so I downloaded the firmware and updated the device. Now its about half of what I got without using the booster (8-9Mb down & 4-6Mb up). Which makes sense because you are basically making a 1 hop into technically 3 hop connection. I am fine with that just because the range and the ability to pick up any signall with in the RV is a God send.Overall, I would recommend this to those who are having issues getting wifi signal within their RV. For me, I work from "home", so internet connection is VITAL.

A great addition to my RV
Easy to install and worked well in all conditions while camping. I was able to stream movies that l was not able to do prior to installation.l would recommend this booster. Bill Milark North Carolina

Rock Solid Connection
I haven't had it long enough to attest to it's longevity but it really pulls in the WiFi at the campground. Without the camp pro i could get connected if I was close enough to the access point but I rarely got that lucky.I tested this when my trailer was in the storage area about 300 yards from the nearest access point and had no trouble connecting and staying connected.Today I put my trailer on what is in my opinion the best lot in the campground but from past experience it's virtually impossible to get WiFi in this area but with the camp pro I'm getting a rock solid connection.I can recommend this or the new WiFi Camp Pro V2 to anyone looking for improving their WiFi connection.I initially set up the Camp Pro on my home network using the Ethernet cable connected to my lap top then accessed the setup page with my tablet and let the browser save the web page and admin password then at the campground I used my tablet to do the setup, no need for the Ethernet cable. One thing to keep in mind is that when the router is setting up the new connection it will reboot, you must wait for it to finish rebooting and connecting to the WiFi access point which will take several minutes showing a frowny face on the web browser. Give it plenty of time before trying to refresh the screen.Update:After a week the suction cups holding the WiFi antenna to the trailer let go and the antenna was laying flat on the ground and I was still getting a solid connection. I had planned on clamping it to my ladder but just hadn't gotten around to it until now.

The Technical Level of router connection is not for beginners
I recommend getting this from TECHNO RV because they provide technical support on how it works. I have the manuals provided online by the company, but have some issues about going through the system to a WIFI hotspot. I am technically proficient, but that doesn't mean I can be anetwork administrator. In fact, that's my toughest assignment as the family guru. As far as I am concerned, without my going out of the way to get questions answered, ALFA is a parts company, and little more. The fact that TECHNO RV has to walk you through this, tells you ALFA is not doing their job. The quality of the product and its performance is fine. I doubled the amount of WIFI hotspots my home AC1300 could pick up from inside the RV. Maybe its only as hard as getting a signal through a new router, but there are antennas and hotspots to consider. WAKE UP ALFA, and stop talking NERD. I am going to have to pore through a lot of double-speak to become comfortable with this. After 50 years in electronics.

Not the easiest to setup or use
Like a few other folks this was not the easiest to setup. After going to the Alfa site and downloading there instructions it was much easier. Not sure why they can't or don't include the one page instruction in the box. After I did get it set up I did notice an improvement on signal strength and I had a good reliable connection. There is a downside to this product and I am not sure how to deal with it yet.the wireless network at or RV site is open, does not require a password but does force you to check a box saying to the effect that it is a open network so be aware. Well the Alfa will not pass that web page back so you can click on the accept button.

As for installation of the kit that's a subjective to each persons needs so I won't go into details about that. The setup of the hot spot was easy. I have yet to give it a real good test. Only campground I have used it at had the Campground's WIFI antenna about 100 feet away, an unfair test. I did however get the feel how this works. You still connect to the Campground WIFI as if there was no booster, but my thought is it can pull in much weaker signals. so once you connect to the hot spot and configure the hot spot to connect to a particular WIFI network you won't have to do anything for your stay.

I highly recommend this for all RV'rs
When you get this device connected, it is a life saver when your signal is weak. The down side is that understanding how to setup the device is not for the computerly challenged (thank goodness for youtube). Instructions would nice! Installation is as snap and setup is fine when you understand how to get started. I highly recommend this for all RV'rs. My advice is to watch a couple setup videos before you start, after that your home free.

Highly recomend
Absolutely amazing, first product I've taken the time to write up on, it took our wifi from 1-2 sites inside our motorhome to over 20.
