I didn't really order these wheels for an office chair, I actually just ordered them to put on a piano dolly I built. I was really worried they were going to be to cheap to take the weight. They are made of plastic, but don't feel cheaply made at all. I doubt they will hold the weight of a piano but would definitely work great on an office chair. They glide on the floor easily with no resistance or wiggle. So if your looking for some wheels to replace broken ones on your office chair or want to build something like these then these are definitely what you need.

I admit, I received this for a very reduced price, but I really like them. I have laminate floors in my office, as well as an office chair that I love (think...it has adjusted to my body after all this time). One of the wheels had seized for unknown reasons, but I never really went looking for a replacement...for the chair or the wheel. These are smooth and don't seem to pick up the debris that others did. That can kill a floor, and so far, these don't seem to. They are keeping my favorite chair usable for a bit longer!

These are great! I have had my office chair for years and the casters were toast. So much so, they were scratching my hardwood floor. I didn't know that they were replaceable until I saw this come up. I bought them and installed them - piece of cake, by the way! and am happily rolling along in my like new office chair.
