The media could not be loaded.  I got this for a neighbor who has a little one -- I saw them coming in with his latest art master piece. After reading all the reviews for most of these items, I decided on this one. It seems most either love it or had a different set of expectations. The biggest issue seemed to be the plastic cover - to me it was not flimsy. It was thick enough to be sturdy for sure. It does takes a little effort to get it to fit - kind of snapping into the slots. After that, it was solid and did not mover around.The frame is pretty deep - over 1 inch - so if you put one single picture in, it will flop around. We put a stack of copy paper in - held almost 60 sheets and put the drawing on top of that - it worked great and looks great. The outer shell is attractive and can hang horizontally or vertically, and the screws come with it. Overall, this exceeded expectations. I am glad the plastic cover is not glass - with anyone handling other than an adult, it my break or cause a cut or something.

I love this idea! It would've been great when my kids were younger, but now I can use it for my grandson's many masterpieces. And I love that it stores them all for me, so it then becomes a keepsake in itself. Because it is a shadow box design, I can also display artwork that isn't just a single-page drawing. There is a mat included that is helpful for displaying smaller pieces. (Since it is deep, you will need to put something behind if you have a single page.)As one reviewer said: "Most either love it or had a different set of expectations." Be sure to read the product description. It does say "shadow box" with "polystyrene cover", so that's what I was expecting. And that's what I got!

If you're looking for a fancy frame with glass, this isn't it, but as a cute display for kid's artwork, it's perfect! I purchased 4 & they were all exactly as pictured. Each frame has a thin piece of plexiglass & simple, white matte. My boyfriend's daughter & I do alcohol ink pictures & decide which ones we want to display in our special frames! A great way to change up decor, too! Just open the magnetic door, slide a new picture inside & close! I absolutely love these!

Love it! Exactly what I was looking for for my friends little girl :) I love how easy it is to change out kids artwork or any type of art you would like to display. The best part is my friend's little girl loves it because she can change out her own artwork herself, it's so easy and safe for kids due to the easy open and shut magnet and clear plastic window instead of glass. Perfect for parents and a great gift to give to parents as well!! A very happy customer!

Very nice product for the price. I use it to display a collection of sand dollars with a few smaller conch shells. I plan to order another one to display election memorabilia that's too thick for a regular frame, like pins. I did replace the plexiglass with actual glass from an old 9x12 picture frame that broke. It suits my purposes better but I would leave the safer plexiglass if I had small children handling the frame.

Although I was expecting an 8.5 x 11 sheet to slip right in, it did not. I had to trim about a quarter inch off the 11" side. Works great to display then. Storage area easily holds the extra artwork.I just made a color copy of the original, trimmed it and put the original inside. This was a Christmas gift for my grandsons artwork he's in kindergarten so years of artwork ahead.Would have awarded 5 stars if frame had actually been sized correctly.

My mom purchased these for me and I love them. Every time my son draws something new I can swap it out and it doesn't get all curled up like they do on the refrigerator. It will even hold photos! What a refreshing idea. The front opens up on a hinge and just replace your new art or photo you want to display, that easy!

This was perfect for what I wanted. I have some memorabilia and some pictures that will be perfect with this frame. This will be an Xmas present for my hubby and I know he will just love it!!
