Impossible Dream

My introduction to Haley Bonar was via performance she gave on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series. Being a vinyl collector, I went to nab her album, and purchased through Amazon. I am very happy with the purchase, as there's not a bad apple on here to spoil the bunch. There's a lot of albums out there where there's a song or few that's good, but the rest are mediocre. This album is not one of them. Start to finish, it's a rollicking good time. Bonar's vocals are excellent, there's a solid sound throughout, and more than a few ear worms that will pop into your head days later without annoying you.I highly recommend this album.

Love this, and ALL of her albums! She's a true talent, a singer-songwriter's dream.

Are you ready for Haleymania? This album is excellent, her couplets are brilliant, the music rocks with psychedelic and New Wave roots. There are three bonafide radio hits on this record; I can't stop spinning this disc.

The 6th album from this Minnesota artist is packed with interesting songs that cover a wide range of styles. Bonar’s haunting, mellifluous voice takes you through rootsy pop/rock tunes that move from gently compelling ballads to guitar-driven indie sock-hops that rock out with melodic abandon. Diverse arrangements and clean production add power to her emotive vocals. This one is a grower.
