I owe this product a glowing review-! When I bought it, I bought two different mats, and for no particular reason I tried the other one first. No question that one was better than my bare tile shower floor had been, certainly at first, so I stuck with it for quite a while. Nonetheless, soon enough it, with summer meaning daily showers for me and constant use of hair conditioner, that too turned my shower experience into something between a skating rink and a balancing experience. So finally I broke out THIS one, and wow was it a transformation. It is STILL hot here in San Diego and I am STILL using hair conditioner daily - and I have washed this mat twice - and it remains firm and steady under my feet even after exhausting days in the garden. A lifesaver, truly, and as I grow older, that may be more than a metaphor as broken hips leading to complications becomes a genuine possibility!

This is the best bath mat you can ever buy, don't waste your money on those ones that stick to the floor of your tub, they don't last and are a waste of money. I have had shoulder surgery and I feel so safe taking a shower knowing I won't slip and lose my balance and re-injure myself. It pops right out when you want to clean your tub and goes back down with no problem at all. I would recommend this mat to everyone. It's so worth the money and really is a good deal. You won't regret buying this mat!

3 1/2 months later, it is black around most of the suction cups from mildew. I actually hung it up on the inside of the shower door for several months because I mostly wanted to use it for guests when they came. So it got wet during showers but it was not on the floor. I figured it was drying out better because it was hanging on the rack. But after several months I looked at it and it had mildew around a good number of the suction cups. Then I put it on the floor for a week and now it has more mildew. I'm not sure how to clean it. But it's definitely not mildew proof. I usually don't post reviews but I am disappointed in this product and not sure how to clean it.

When washing our dog in the tub, its claws would rip out our previous tub mats.Not this mat, it stays put. So when the dog thinks bath time is over, this mat doesn’t budge.Now there’s no more worry about our dog slipping and falling in the tub and bath time is over when it’s over.PS: It works real well for people to.

My mat arrived on time and in good condition. It is serving my needs very well as I recover from total hip replacement surgery. Even though my shower stall is on the small-side, I would have liked the dimensions of the mat to be about 4 inches wider. This mat has the best non-skin construction that I have ever owned. The numerous holes in the mat allow for quick drainage. As instructed, I remove the mat after showering for quick dry, upside down. Highly recommend this product, for everyday use on slippery surfaces.

Just had new shower stall installed with a white base pan started using this product about 2 weeks ago, after every shower I remove the blue mat let it hang to dry, I just noticed a light blue stain starting on the shower base,I started scrubbing with Clorox and a rough sponge hoping to get stain out,I really don't need this aggravation.

This mat looked exactly right for us, but the first time each of us used it we had the same response and that is it's incredibly uncomfortable to the bottom of your feet. The manufacturer offered to resolve the problem, but provided no method to respond. The cost of the item wasn't sufficient to warrant our going through a return process.

Would of given this mat 5 stars but because of the shape of my shower stall where I use this product it does not fit completely flat. The reason is not the mat but my shower stall has what I would consider two seats or foot rests that are in the corners of the stall and for about an inch or so does not fit flat. Two corners of the mat bend up, but, and this is the reason I like these is the center is right over the drain. Other mats I've gotten did not allow shower water to drain fast enough and I would sometimes have a puddle instead. The suction cups hold very well and the surface gives me a none slip surface to stand on bought four in all as hard water does discolor any mats I use. They I assume can be trimmed but the slight problem I have is not a problem to go to that much trouble. As far as putting these in my top loader washer I would not do it because of the problem with the machines balance.
