To make handmade Hot Plate there are many steps into the process. We use long leaf pine needles from Florida, and the Hot Plate is is threaded with Walnut Brown Wax Linen Thread. To create the pine center we cut a section of a branch from a pine tree. Once we are satisfied with the completed basket it is coated with shellac. Everyone of our Hot Plates are unique and one of a kind. There are designed and crafted by us. The size of the Hot Plate is, 6 1/2 x 6 3/4 diameter. There is 5 felt circles on the bottom to protect the table. This Hot Plate can have many uses, but the items must be dry. Made in a smoke free home.
