For the price the leash material is sturdy both clasps are sturdy as well. I like the tan color a lot. After a few walks this is my experience: The waist leash does not tighten to the size of my waist (28 inches) even with a thick winter jacket on. I found a bit of a workaround to tighten it further but it leaves a "loop" of material sticking out of the waist leash area. It becomes loose when the dog pulls even a little bit and I have to re-tighten several times throughout the walk - this is very frustrating. The pouch is very convenient for treats and a roll of poop bags. The stretch of the leash has pros and cons depending on your dog and the activity - and if the waist part stayed tightened. I can see this being great for runs and hikes when you need a little give and don't want to be pulled over. However, I've noticed on my walks in the city, if I need to quickly pull the dog back, the stretch actually works against me. We have a lot of trash / food / dogs / busy streets in our neighborhood and that extra stretch is not good when you need to pull them back from another dog/pizza crust/etc.

Very good though the waist belt is limited on how small it can go. I'm not tiny and it was too large on my waist which made it way too big on the kids, even the older ones. If you break the plastic piece off then it fixed that problem. Otherwise the bungee is tough and a good length. I personally like the double handle and would not want one without that option. The clips are well made and function easily. The accessories are nice too, both are useful.

Product okay overall. I loved how cheap this was and the fact that it came with a collapsible dog bowl, zipper pouch, and hand hold on the leash. But it easily slides out of position and becomes too loose. I tried to remedy this with a ponytail holder and that works well enough, but if you're looking for something you don't have to adjust every few minutes I would look elsewhere.

I forgot my girls gentle leader when I went on a hike. She is used to having a retractable leash so she began pulling a great deal. However, the loop fit perfectly around her nose with enough room for her to pant and drink. It doesn't have to be perfect at directing her head back because she knows that if something is around her nose she is not to pull. However, I do wish the bungee was easier to pull. Overall great quality and I love the bonus bowl!

I bought it to go with is Feliscanis Tactical Dog Training Patrol Harness . It looks beautiful. The only problem is this cant be used for leash training. This is comfortable for walking around but if you want to train your dog then use non-bungee leash.

This is great when walking my Golden Retriever. He tends to pull, I'm old and my hands are arthritic-OUCH! I had been concerned that he might pull me over someday. I am much more stable now. I only wish that I could attach my Chihuahua, but the leash part is much too heavy. Does Tahoe Tribe Outfitters offer a lightweight leash so I can be totally hands free?

Grant it, my dog is large, however without pulling to hard, the round metal clasp broke in an awkward situation when a small dog started being aggressive towards my big boy and I had to pull on him to keep the other dog from biting. However the clasp broke as my dog moved towards the little barking beast. At least mine didn't decide to tear the little one apart instead just wanted to play and I was able knock the other dog away.Anyhoot, they need to upgrade the gage of the clasp...
