Good quality and nice novelty. Almost never use it tho. Was good out on the boat in cape cod though!

Works well so far, especially for lighting candles that aren't in jars. I'm not sure about it's windproof claim, but it certainly is wind resistant. If it ever doesn't seem to work very well, just take a rag and gently wipe off the contacts.

When I got this lighter I was happy. I bought the marine blue one, and it was beautiful. I followed the directions and charged it to a full charge. It worked great for the first10-12 days, and then stopped . I plugged it into the included charger and within a couple of minutes the red light changed to green. Hmmm, I thought that was really quick. I unplugged it from the charger, opened the top and pushed the button. Nothing! I tried charging it a few more times and it never worked again. I sent it back.

I don't like the stigma attached to carrying a torch and have crap luck refilling them. My brother had one and I thought it was perfect. I've had/used it about a week and I've charged it twice (about two packs a day). The paint already shows significant wear after a week, but it's important to note that a one armed dude carries everything in one pocket, so things tend to get beaten up quickly. It lights my smokes but not a full light without effort. I wish the arc was a little more robust, but overall a good value for the price.

This lightet is beautiful!!!! It will be a gift, so wont know how it functions until after Christmas, but when i tried lighting it when i received it, it sparjed right up! I think the recipient will be happy!

I camp and I am tired of disposable lighters running low and blowing out in the wind. This seems like an ideal option and I won't be adding to the landfill with empty disposable lighters. It lights up like a charm with the push of a button. No flame, but an arc. I carry a portable power cell when I hike, so I can charge this in camp if need be.
