Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hard Drive 5TB, External Hard Drive HDD, USB 3/2, RGB LED lighting, Data Rescue Services (STKL5000400)

What a wonderful procuct. 5 Terrabytes of external storage, which simplt plugs into your pc via a usb port. Needs no set up, though it fdoes come with a little software package to help tweak its operation. Will back up pretty much everything you ill ever need to keep, from photos, to text files, to videos. And this amount of storage in a pretty small and substantional plastic casing will last you forever. Seagate have a good reputation for reliability, and this one comes with the little gimmick of some flashing RGB led lighting along the front. Takes up hardly any space, and can be unplugged when you are no longer using it. My whole music collection, of over 30, 0000 tracks is now backed up on it, just in case the main computer drive ever goes down.

Just a quick review is to give this Seagate Firecuda 4TB HDD device a full 5 stars! This is a very convenient small footprint of 12cm x 10cm which fits very nicely to the back of my notebook PC. Also since starting to write my review, I did a backup of my notebook PC to it and even though it has a USB interface, I found the write speeds to be as fast as my desktop PC, which has an internal Seagate “Barracuda” HDD with a direct IDE connection to the motherboard of the PC.Hope this information is helpful!

Storage capacity, great looking and performance good and it has great power however the downside of it, is that you cannot play pS5 games direct on it and to so , you will need to copy pS5 from the drive and reinstall on the ps5 console storage but you can save pS4 games on it and be able to play directly

Awesome

Sits nicely next to my gaming PC and is perfect for storing games to save on my internal memory. Will say though that some of the more modern games will not work properly due to the transfer speeds required so save those for the internal storage. Avatar didnt work properly as did Project motor racing but others have worked just fine Halo Infinate for example.

Easily the worst purchase that I have ever made on Amazon. I transferred loads of my personal stuff to it and then after 5 days it stopped being recognised as a drive. My computer said that I had to format it to use it even thought I had already transferred over 500gb of my Personal stuff onto it. The seagate online chat helpline is completely useless. No help at all. Completely frustrating. They don’t even have any file recover software that you can use. They expect you to sent all your personal stuff to them to try to recover. Don’t buy this. I thought I was being proactive transferring stuff from all external drives but it would have been safer left on them.

Not 5TB, but a fraction under 4.5.However, it's functionally quiet and efficient.Name's a bit silly though. Did someone catch a barracuda, decide they didn't want it, throw it on a trash fire then decide it made a good product label?

Fast drive great to use

Got a deal on the item, love the quality and works fine!Nothing negative to say on this item, looks great for any gamer looking for a external HD. 😁
