Each can provides about two weeks of residual protection. I continued spraying in subsequent two week periods until the "cycle" had broken. I worked with the building exterminator and building management who did not find a bed bug infestation in my bed. However, it appears they did occupy throwpillows and probably entered my apartment under the front door. I augmented the spray with the powder at the entry threshold and around the perimeter of my studio apartment, just to be sure. I stopped spraying about a month ago and have noticed no new bites. If ever I do, Bedlam will be my product of choice again asI'd purchased other products previously to no avail. It takes more than just one spraying to resolve the problem. Be sure to conduct thorough inspections of every-thing and not rely on just one method of eradication. Launder bed linens, get mattress protectors, spray, etc. even if you don't actually see these critters. The babies arejust as annoying as the adults and are not visible to the naked eye.
