This is my favorite brand of Rosehip Oil! I've tried others over the years, and they either didn't absorb well or smelled like rancid oil. First Botany absorbs in 5-10 minutes and leaves my skin smooth as silk, not oily. As for my skin issues now, none! Smooth and clear, and I had constant acne issues from my early teens right through menopause. Wish I knew then what I know now. First, don't use soap on your face. The best facial cleanser I've ever found is a good quality olive oil. Sounds crazy, but it's wonderful. You may break out at first, but muscle through the first week or so and you won't be sorry! Once I discovered olive oil for cleansing, my acne was gone, like really, really gone. My kids use it too and none of them have ever had acne issues once they started using it. The second thing, use sunscreen! Third, I would tell my younger self, use Rosehip Oil. It's gentle, acne scars will fade away, smooths those fine lines and wrinkles. Now that I'm nearing 60, and have been using Rosehip Oil for nearly a decade, strangers comment on my lovely skin! I have very few wrinkles, still a few smile lines, but I'm okay with those. Compared to friends my own age, my skin is flawless! Lesson is, you don't need to spend a fortune for smooth, clear skin.

This oil is great, I recently got on hormonal acne medication and now that the blemishes are clearing up I have been left with some hyper-pigmentation and scaring. I bought this oil hoping it would be a miracle product. While I would not say it is quite at that level I do love it!! I still have some scaring from deeper spots but I feel like this oil helped my complexion even out as a whole and it eased almost all of the hyper-pigmentation. I love how this makes my skin feel and look. Its not greasy unless you just use WAY to much, it wears nicely under my make-up and it doesn't transfer everywhere in my bed at night.Just great stuff all around, I am going to repurchase when my bottle runs out.

I received my rosehip oil about a week ago. It came well package and without any leaks. My skin had started to breakout and had become very dry because of the winter weather. As soon as I put it on I notice that my skin drank it up. Along with different masks I've been using to get my skin back I have seen differences in my skin beginning to glow and the redness going away, as well as dry patches on my skin. I do use it with other oils such as tea tree and marajuca oil. But mainly, at night I use rosehip.

I always ordered from this seller and until the last order, I was very happy with this product. But this last time I just don't know! Something is off. Normally this oil was always golden-yellow in color, it smelled like dry berries and it would sink into my skin very fast without a greasy residue. The same oil I ordered last time is bright orange color.:(( It smells like sunflower oil, not like berries. :(( And it's thicker and certainly much greasier than usually. :(( When I smooth it over my face, I just see the yellow color on my face for a while. I am not very happy with this last order. Did I just get a bad product, or was it a bad batch? Or bad quality control? Don't know what to think. I will use this orange oil for now and just hope my face won't break out. But if I get the same orange stuff next time, I will have to return it and I won't order here anymore (which is sad, because I love their stuff and prices).

As Director in an essential oils business I rely on a great variety of products for carrier oils, to prepare the skin to receive and then deliver the benefits of hundreds of essential oil products. This oil has a wonderful light pink color to it, and an out of this world scent. It blends with many oils and fragrances to augment a wide variety of recipes. It is perfect enough to just stand on its own, as well. It is fortunate that it fits my budget.

Update: my son had an intense reaction to this “new” formula. The previous oils we were sent worked well on his skin. No denying they changed the formula without disclosing the fact. That can be potentially very dangerousThis is the third bottle I have purchased. This one smells incredibly different from the other two, and not in a pleasant way. It also has a much thinner consistency now. I really enjoyed and recommended this specific product to friends. I will no longer do so and no longer purchase this brand.

My first time using rosehip oil so I don't have anything besides coconut oil to compare to. It's super greasy and doesn't seem to abrob all that well, but it is moisturizing my skin. There's no scent either which I'm surprised by, so I'm wondering if my package was maybe exposed to heat or if the rosehip oil is really pure like they claim.

I used this oil twice before it slipped out of my hand and broke. What I did notice in the two day that I used it was that it was not greasy abd did not have a identifiable scent(which I like bc I had planned to use it on my face and hair) and my face felt moisturized through out the day. I had planned to add it to my daily moisturizers but didn't get a chance.
