I’ve put so many safety precautions in place like rails on the bed, cameras, alarm floor mats and a doorbell for him to use when he wants to get out of bed. He’s very stubborn that won’t push the doorbell button and tries to avoid all the safety devices that I have in place. My last resort was to purchase this product and it has helped me keep my dad from getting out of bed in the middle of the night unassisted and forces him to push the doorbell now lol. It is easy to use except you have to be an able to get down on the floor to reach under the bed to clip the latches together. I have to do this because I have to keep the clips out of his reach or he’ll try to release it himself. I feel good that the strap allows him to roll left and right, sit up and even sit in the edge of the bed but it doesn’t allow him to actually get out of the bed.
