I am at an age -- my mid-sixties -- where it takes much longer to recover from anything, including even minor skin wounds.Scratches, zits (like cockroaches, these never go away), torn cuticles -- these all seem to linger for weeks.I tried just about every other skin remedy I had on hand -- aloe gel, the excellent O'Keeffe's Working Hands, healing moisturizers, you name it -- and nothing seemed to speed the healing process of these minor wounds.Then I read the good reviews of this stuff at Amazon and thought I'd give it a try.Lo and behold, this stuff works.I haven't used it yet the way it's truly intended -- on a fresh wound, under a bandage -- but it has cleared up un-bandaged scabs I've been nursing for weeks.In this capacity, it didn't work overnight, but it did work over a few days.I also like the smell of the stuff -- it's a spicy, unusual scent like patchouli or something. Is that the smell of beeswax?I will report back when I have a chance to use this product as intended on a fresh wound. In the meantime, I can say that it worked where other usually reliable products failed.

I have a horrible habit of picking acne, which leads to large, long lasting (and embarrassing) wounds on my face. My order came around 11am today and I applied it immediately. I covered it with a clear hydrocolloid acne cover (also purchased on amazon). It is now 820pm, and I just removed the cover. Wow. The wound that has been raised and "crunchy" for the last week is now smoothed over, and no longer red and inflamed. After I shower, I will apply and cover again overnight. I'm crossing my fingers that by Monday, I can go to work without wanting to hide my face. I'll update my review in about a week to let everyone know if this was a fluke, or if this stuff really works! Oh, and as far as the smell that other reviewers complained about, it's really not bad at all. I've had acne medication that's smelled way worse. This smells like a holistic product, which actually makes me feel better about using it. It's not a harsh chemical smell, but more of an earthy, "this stuff is natural" smell.

Ive givin this 3 stars because 1. Upon selecting on buy now item it stated $14.99/ unit price $1.30 per oz. so I purchased it thinking it be a 7-14 oz tube,it arrived on time but it's a 0.5(1/2oz) Making it a unit price of $30.00 an oz. and 2. I feel the product is very good,however a 1/2 oz(0.5) has only been good for 3-4 days of application & the product description states results over 2-4 weeks! I feel a 1/2 oz tube is ONLY capable of treating a dime size wound for more than 14 days! It's not enough product to make a rating,as my wounds are 1week old & Ive been applying it 3-1/2 days & the tube is has enough for 1 more application! Lasting a total of 5 days or 5-6 applications on 2 wounds approx the size of a French fry

I burned myself pretty bad in October from a fresh *very hot* pot of coffee that I was pouring into my Thermos cup to take to work and missed..I had 2nd degree burns and have a light scar on my middle finger that sometimes gets pretty red. I read reviews on this cream and purchased it hoping it would help heal my scar and the redness but it hasn't helped. I'm guessing this cream works better for fresh new burns..not 2 months old scars from a burn. I also didn't care for the smell and the color was a green mucus color...I was confused if this was normal when I first tried it. I should've read more into this prior to purchasing - I'm still on a hunt to help get the scar and redness away!

I'm sorry this cream has been discontinued here, which is where I bought my first tube. I am now buying it directly from the manufacturer. It is a wonderful healing cream -- and it works better and more quickly than OTC antibiotic creams on wounds and scars. I've been using it on cystic acne marks and a skin cancer scar on my face -- and have been surprised at how much better they look after a couple of days of using this cream. It does help to cover up the wound after applying the cream, using a bandaid or micropore tape to keep the cream moist.

I would like to be able to give Wound Repair Skin Healing Cream more than 5 stars! It was amazing in healing a wound on the bottom of my foot. I applied it as instructed the night that I received it and every 6 - 8 hours. After just one day, I could tell that healing was taking place. The wound continued to heal more and more each day. Even though the tube is only 1/2 an ounce, I still have plenty left after applying it 20 - 25 times. I ordered another tube to have on hand in case it is needed.

quite expensive for the hope of faster wound healing after surgery. I guess it worked fairly well as I don't know if wounds healed any faster. doctor said I healed well and quickly so maybe this helped. Easy to apply and goes a long way for a small amount. The main ingredient that Doc said to look for was vitamin E which this product has along with other vitamins and healing oils. Absorbed well .

Skinned my knee (very badly, very deeply) when I took a spill in a gravel driveway. Kept it clean, used neosporin on it and kept it covered. After 2 weeks it wasn't healing at all. Bought this and within the first use it felt so much better within minutes. Hours later when I removed the bandage to shower, I could see that it was already healing and no more burning pain. You gotta try this. Keep it in your first aid kit at home and office.
