Works great with the Oculus rift for me.
Works great with the Oculus rift for me. Have a 25ft HDMI cable coming from my gtx1060 and the everything works fine.Update: I was going to buy another for my tv across the room from my PC. Luckily I tested it with the one I already had first because my Samsung curved 55inch doesn't recognize an input. My PC sees the Samsung TV, but the TV will not show any video. Here's my issue, because the rift requires the only HDMI port on my card, I'm using a displayport to hdmi adapter>hdmi cable> this adapter>hdmi cable. The displayport adapter and this repeater will not work together. I plugged the TV into the HDMI port to test and it works. Not sure what I'm going to do, but this is where I've gotten to.

Purchased to Fix VR Headset Connection Issues; Worked Perfectly!
I was having display connection issues using an HDMI extension cable for my Oculus Rift. The cable previously worked, but over time stopped functioning (my headset light would stay orange), and I assumed it may be a cable voltage issue.I bought this HDMI repeater instead of purchasing a new extension cable and I've had no issues; and this was much cheaper than a new cable!Additionally, the smaller form factor of this repeater is great, and the transformer doesn't require any external power to function.

Perfect for Oculus Rift
Bought to extend the cable on my Oculus Rift. Worked great and gave me the extension for my cord that I needed.

Did the trick for my Oculus Rift needs!
Used this to add a 15 foot active HDMI cable to extend my range on the Oculus Rift headset. It’s working flawlessly with a MSI GTX 970.Thinking about purchasing a second one because I have heard they do go bad fairly often after usage. So wouldn’t hurt to have a spare on deck for the $10 price tag.[For those interested in what I used for the USB cable; I purchased the UGreen ‘USB 3.0 Active Repeater Extension Cable 15FT/5M”. Working flawlessly for the headset and two sensors. I am NOT using the micro USB plug to supliment power on these cables HOWEVER I also purchased the StarTech USB expansion card which has suplimental power from your PCs power supply. I suspect this is where most people run into issues with longer than 10FT cable runs, if your just using the USB on your motherboard it may not be pushing enough power down the cables. In this case you can simply use any micro USB charging cable (like one for a cellphone) and drive suplikental power down the USB lines.]See you in Rec Room! 😛👍

Worked great for about a year.
Used to extend my rift for a full room vr setup, I was previously using just a 10 foot hdmi cable and had issues with the audio channels randomly switching sides and random video signal loss, this repeater fixed the issues and worked pretty much flawlessly for about a year, now it's starting to randomly lose video signal again, so I think the repeater is dying. For the price I'm probably gonna just order another one.

Lifesaver
It didn’t seem to work when I tried more expensive cables, nothing worked. I just could not get my picture to come through my device. Someone mentioned one of these, I bought three of them, and installed one on each of my HDMI lines and they work like a charm. They must have if your cable is not working.

Did not work with Twisted Vein cables. Would only pass signal with 4 foot in and 6 foot out cable defeating their purpose
This does not work with Twisted Vein cables at all. The only time it would pass any signal was with a 4 foot cable in and a 6 foot cable out (FEET not meters) and I do not want to spend more money on cables to see if I can possibly get them to work.At this point I am going to be returning them. See below for what I attempted to use them forAny constructive help and advice on the following will be greatly appreciatedI am attempting to connect all 4 tv's in my house to my main entertainment center to display identical screens on all(I go from room to room and don't want to miss any of what I am watching - BTW I am only person in house - I also only need to get 1080 or even 720 resolution as I have no 4k or 3d tv's in the house)I have a DirecTV HR24, Amazon Firestick, and a Bluray player connected to this in my living room:B074V5SCDP Dinger HDMI Switch, 4K HDMI Switch with Remote Control and AC Power Adapter, 4 Port HDMI Switches Supports 4K, 1080P, 3Dwhich then connects to this with a 4ft cable (premium quality - exact specs unknown)B0180PPTNO HDC-104 HDMI Splitter 1 in 4 out Movcle Full HD 1080P 1X4 Port Box Hub with US Adapter v1.4 Powered Certified for 3D Supportwith one B06Y2G54JC 2ACHB50 Twisted Veins 50ft cable connected to kitchen tv (no separate amplifier, but the switch and splitter are both powered)Oh, and no video signal goes through a separate surround system. I just use the digital audio out on my tv to go to my old school Kenwood 5.1 receiver in living room. Now at this point the living room and kitchen tv's work great. Where I am having issues is the longer run to office and bedroom:I have one 25ft cable going from splitter to the coween hdmi amplifier to one 50ft cable to the tv for each tv in office and bedroom. (2 sets of 25ft cable, amplifier, 50ft cable)Now with the amplifiers installed I get no signal at all and yes I have tried reversing the amplifiers in case the input and output are labeled wrongand have also swapped the cables and amplifiers around with no different results. Now with the amplifiers removed and replaced with the female to female couplers I can get 3 seconds of picture and 3 seconds of black screen alternating.I also tried removing the switch and splitter and just connected directly to the sat box and I can get a really poor quality picture (very dim and sparkly with no audio)The only time the amplifiers will pass a signal is with a 4ft cable in and a 6ft cable out so at this point the amplifiers will be returned. Thanks for any help you can give on thisB074V5SCDP Dinger HDMI Switch, 4K HDMI Switch with Remote Control and AC Power Adapter, 4 Port HDMI Switches Supports 4K, 1080P, 3DB0180PPTNO HDC-104 HDMI Splitter 1 in 4 out Movcle Full HD 1080P 1X4 Port Box Hub with US Adapter v1.4 Powered Certified for 3D SupportB016VFPWWS 2ACHB25 Twisted Veins Two (2) Pack of (25 ft) High Speed HDMI Cables + Right Angle Adapter and Microfiber Cable Ties (Latest Version Supports Ethernet, 3D, and Audio Return)B01GHL72XS L-LEAP-HD-ZJQ COWEEN HDMI Repeater 4K UHD HDMI Female to Female HDMI Amplifier 40' HDMI Extender Up to 40 Meters Lossless Transmission for Oculus Rift and MoreB06Y2G54JC 2ACHB50 Twisted Veins Two (2) Pack of (50 ft) High Speed HDMI Cables + Right Angle Adapter and Microfiber Cable Ties (Latest Version Supports Ethernet, 3D, and Audio Return)B01HGASSU0 LINESO HDMI Female to Female Adapter Gold Plated High Speed HDMI Female Coupler 3D&4K Resolution

It actually worked!
I needed to extend the length of an hdmi custom cable, it was tough finding a replacement cable to use because the cable screwed into a faceplate on a conference table, a male to female hdmi cable with screw ears on the female side. I took a chance with this hdmi repeater and it worked, worked well in fact, I wasn't sure it would because of the odd setup and multiple connections included. I had tried a coupler first and that did not work, so this device saved the day over a fairly long complicated HDMI run that was not initially planned.Conf table hdmi faceplate cable > repeater > hdmi cable > HDMI over CAT5e device> Floor box using patch cable > patch panel (20 ft away) > patch cable > patch panel port > conference room wall jack (20 ft away) > HDMI over CAT5e device > HDMI to TV.
