One car stops on top of the raised roadway by itself and goes into action only when the other car passes under it. Our Highway Set was original produced in the 1950's by Modern Toys Masudaya of Japan. The Tin Toy Highway Car Set a very colourful and clever toy with a nicely printed tin base. It has two clockwork cars. The cars are rounded and shoot round the track turning sharply, which scoot around a winding track and up onto a flyover. Once there one car stops and will not move again until the other car passes underneath it.Then magically the car takes off on its journey again. The dimensions of the Track base is 43cm x 17cm the wind up cars are 2 inches.
