Generations of growers tend to the trees at a family owned, small, artisanal estate tucked away high among the thousand foot peaks of Sierra Castril Natural Park. Our Robust extra virgin olive oil is extracted from the hearty Picual olive. Bottled at the estate into dark, glass bottles to prevent oxidation and loss of beneficial polyphenols, the oil is cold pressed using traditional methods immediately after the harvest. The oil is not blended with any other variety of olive and is shipped directly to us. Small batch production assures highest quality and maximum health benefits that come from first pressed, organically grown, extra virgin olive oil. Did not live up to reviews for me
Olive oil flavors vary so much, and I guess preferences do too. I was disappointed in this, it just has too much bite in it for me, but if that is your preference, then try it. It's fine, but I won't be reordering it.

False Advertising
All of the other reviews on this product appear to be fake. I wish I had of paid closer attention to them before buying this product.I purchased this Olive Oil under the impression that it was high quality Olive Oil, which it isn't. I tested the quality once it arrived, and it failed every test I put it through. It is my opinion that this olive oil has been adulterated, and is falsely labeled. The company or seller should be sued for Fraud! You are basically paying almost $30 for 2 cups of grocery store quality Olive Oil, BUYER BEWARE!!!

Good EVOO
My palate isn't talented enough to detect all of the nuances described, but it tasted better than the blended jug of oil we usually pick up at Costco for cooking. Used it to add to salads for taste and enjoyed the bottle.

A Different Type of Olive Oil - Worth A Try!
I've learned to like olive oils as dipping oils and sometimes for cooking but I didn't know that there is more to olive oils than meets the eye. It's just like looking for fine wine. This olive oil has a very subtle aroma with a robust flavor and slight bitterness to it (which I understand is more for cooking rather than for dipping.) I'm excited to use this to enhance flavors with my pasta, salads and meat dishes. If you love olive oils, you might want to try this because it is a different type of olive oil than what you are probably used to buying before. It's made from 200yr old olive trees from Spain and I doubt if you can get the same taste anywhere else in the world.
