Having trouble with hook sets? I find these hooks work better for me than the most recommended EWG hooks of any brand. Came back to these old workhorses after having trouble with hook sets. I am 70 years old and have to fish sitting down in my Baby Bass boat. Just no longer can set a hook like I could standing up. Worried about the strength and hook sets on big bass? Put one in the boat this year at 8.9 pounds. If you are after fish bigger than that, you don't need my recommendations. Note: Use one size larger than you use with a EWG hook.
