MK Machining Throw Levers Compatible for Athlon Optics

These are junk. Its a legit cheapo 3d print with no finishing. They wont tighten properly without breaking, and they slide on recoil. I've gotten 2 diff types, rubbery abs stuff and the faux 'carbon fiber' bs. Save you money and just buy something in aluminum. These are truly not worth spending money on unless your an IG oper9er. Even then, they are astetically and functionally much too large and tall.If they slug em at about $3.50 a pop, I prob still wouldn't buy one. Especially on my boogaloo guns....

Said it was for a Athlon Optics BTR gen 2 and I thought I had an Athlog Argos BTR scope gen 2 but the inside diameter is way to small. It looks like the opening is off by an inch or maybe a bit less. Either I have a Gen 1 scope (can't believe there would be that much difference anyway) or I received the wrong Throw Lever. Otherwise it looks like a decent Throw Lever.

I bought these in August of 2018 and here it is early October and the two I own came loose. One a a 308 the other is on a 6mm Creedmore. I tried to tighten them a little more only to have the polymer stretch and the screws pulled through the hole. I WOULD NOT recommend these to anyone. Pay the extra money and get the billet aluminum ones.

So i primarily use one magnification as most of my scopes not FFP, but with this scope a in conjunction with this lever allows shifting to close range pesting at lower magnification without POI issues. It allows me to change the way i shoot how well i adapt will be aided by this throw lever & a side wheel when i can get one though at minimum magnification parallax adjustment not as critical and could be something i can set up to ignore. Anyhow the lever is a good fit and more than strong enough that it is not something i have to worry that it will last.

Great product and pricing. Item shipped/arrived quickly. My only reason for the 1 star is the finish is less than expected but I understand now that this is a 3D printed item so there are many fine lines/ridges/grooves. I sanded it with 200 grit sandpaper which both smoothed the product and dulled the shiny black finish. I then spray painted with a matte OD green, love it.

Plastic junk. I've used a lot of throw levers but these are the worst. I'd rather use the zip style universal throw levers than these. The fit was loose right out of the box and only got worse over time.

It doesn't fit tight and it came off my Athlon scope. I tighted it as far as I thought I could and it still slips off. I then tightened harder and it started to crack/break. I will put the generic one back on, it's not as pretty, but works better. I own 2 other MK 'Primary Arms' throw overs...holding my breath on those as to keep working (or the generics go back on).

This is my 5th throw lever from MK Machining. Fit to the magnification ring is great, the look is really cool (this could just be your 1st 3D printed item) and the material is easily paintable. If you haven’t used one, there is a huge improvement in how quickly you can make magnification changes without moving your shooting position. While most of my use for the past year have been in PRS style shooting/competitions, the lever was awesome during the past big game hunting seasons. Shipping is fast and the company is great with a lot of offerings in both 3D printing, aluminum and AR500. I did have a original lever for another scope that broke, called them and it was determined it was an original material (Dec 2016) that wasn’t very pliable, we shared pics of the break and they promptly sent me a new one of the better USA made materials (Apr 2017).
