12 Pack AA NiCd 1000 mAh 1.2 V Rechargeable Batteries for Solar, etc

I love these batteries. I just charge them up when they're running out of energy. I put them in my solar lights, mp3, my kids like them because it's easy to use. But you need a charger that is compatible with the batteries. I had to purchase Tenergy TN145 8-Bay AA/AAA NiMH/NiCd Battery Charger but it was well worth it. I charge all the batteries that are rechargeable and that come with my solar lights. Rechargeable batteries are expensive at any major store. But I bought 2 packs of 12 Pack AA NiCd 1000 mAh 1.2 V Rechargeable Batteries by Tenergy for $12 each. At other major appliance store 1 7pak costs $25.00. This investment is well worth the cost. When receiving the batteries charge them right away don't place them in any electronic appliances till they are charged. Most people give bad review because they want to place them in their appliances and used them. Shelf life lowers the batteries. And wait till the charger light turns off to start using them.

I have a fairly old cordless phone that has multiple handsets. It uses NiCad batteries, which are hard to find. Newer nickle metal hydride batteries are just a bit bigger and they don't fit easily into the handsets. These AA NiCads are perfect replacements for the OEM batteries that came with the handsets.

I bought these batteries for my solar lights. For the price & shipping, 12 seemed like a good price. I charged all batteries in a NiCd charger. 6 of the 12 batteries would not charge completely. Of those 6 that did charge, they continued to hold a charge in the solar lights after initially charged them. Sometimes you do get bad batteries. But only 6 charging out of 12 is 5o%. Terrible. I might go back to buying from another online battery vendor which was more in shipping, but at least all those batteries lasted years.

Basically I purchased these batteries for solar light in my landscape. I would have given five - if it has some leaflet with describing the details as follow:1. Are they already charged or not2. Are they charged automatically by sun or I need to use charger to charge.3. Warranty on it.Can you still provide that information

The batteries would just fine (as advertised) in my 5 year old solar lanterns.They have been working fine for about 1 month now. I am not sure how long they will last right now.

These batteries are working fine as of now and even with shipping cost I got them cheaper than I could have at Walmart.Now I have to wait to see how long they will last.

Excellent price, charge quickly, last a long time. Have stayed with the well-known brands until recently, when those makers decided they can hike the price to ridiculous levels. That's when I decided to give Tenergy a try. Now, wouldn't dream of buying any other make, lest Tenergy were to make the same mistake as those certain other overhyped brands.

Good quality. Good replacement for existing batteries.
