Exactly as expected. These fit my standard stainless steel sink perfectly. This strainer is a big improvement over the standard one that was included with the sink. The holes are smaller, however, so you'll wind up emptying it more often. But the strainer is very easy to remove. The only negative is that, due to the design, there is no adjustment allowing it to hold water.

Overall, we love these. They fit well on both sides of our dual sink (disposal and standard drain). They are a little wider than the holes, so they move slightly when in the drain, which is why I gave it 4 vs 5 stars. other than that, it's great. The holes are a good size and don't clog as much as some of the other reviews indicate.

These strainers are easy to keep clean and shiney looking. The best feature is the basket handle! No more touching the garbabe collected in the strainer! I think it was because they were so old that my strainers never stayed clean looking. Also with my old strainers, the piece to lift them from the sink was in the middle. I used to hate putting my fingers into the garbage caught by the strainers!

Slightly larger than the standard kitchen sink drain opening causing it not to sit flush on top of the drain. Majority of the food particles will get through the sides and edge of the strainer. Does not sit flat on top of the drain. Defeats the purpose of this strainer. I gave it one star because I'm using it as a sponge holder on the side of my sink. I'm using the second one as a seed starter pot (got to find other uses for it instead of tossing it!)

I guess you get what you pay for. It does the job and the holes are a little too big if you are using it for the sink that does not have the grinder. The handle is useful but one of them came without one. Amazon customer service was great but it was a hassle to go through customer services when you spent so little. Next time I am going to Daiso or something.

It stop large items like knife spoons and forks that fell through my sink hole was the reason for replacing the one I had. It clogs up when food particles are caught such as rice, noodles, green pepper seeds or any kind of seeds. The only thing that is nice it fits the hole and has a handle to pick it up.

Didn't know there a strainer that deep. Currently have two strainer but it's really shallow which doesn't hold much of foods or veggies. It always over float. This one is perfect with the depth. It can hold a lot of stuff without over float issue. Along with the handle, it's easy to lift up and dump in the trash bin.

could have had holes on the sides too, to allow it to drain faster but still great!
