Attention all nerds and geeks, jump on in!
The media could not be loaded. Ok I’ll admit right off I’m a bit OCD, a large bit, more like a bunch of bits, a byte! This fits right in with the super group of kinetic “toys” I have obtained.I’ve had my top for several weeks now and have enjoyed it since it’s arrival. It is robust in the fact that I dropped it and knocked the coil from its binding with the core rolling across my tiled floor. Well I picked it up sort of lined it up with the core of the coil in the center of the device, put the battery in per the inscription inside of + and - lined up the “key” and started it off on another couple days of rotation. This is amazing! I am an old fashioned elektroniker, but can’t tell you exactly how it works. I just enjoy it in its place in the kinetic garden on my NeoHippie geeky nerd CenterSo grab one and jump on in the whirling ride! Hey

Arrived missing a piece; very cheaply made.
Missing a piece, another essential piece was scotch taped together, extremely thin plastic throughout, base fits very poorly to pedestal.I can't find one redeeming feature to this item. Amazon should be ashamed to offer this for sale.Even if it functioned initially, the youngster I purchased this for would likely have in rendered permanently inoperative within a day."There is hardly anything in the world that someone cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper. The people who consider only price are this man's lawful prey."

Works as advertised, but NOT quiet!!
Works as advertised. But unlike an older model we had, this (a) requires a battery and (b) is quite noisy. The battery speeds it up and it therefore prattles on incessantly. I never really use it. Our old one was more "passive" (i think it was magnetic) and the top was a heavier, more metallic quality. The old one was deadly silent. One day I walked into the home office and saw it *still* spinning after like, a month. I'd forgotten all about it. With this one's noise, you'll never forget!!

This product deserves quality control.
Broken on arrival. Electro magnetic assembly is not secured well to the base, and will likely be flopping around when you receive this or break shortly there after. Would love to find a decent quality version of this. Used to be called, Top Secret. The science involved in this toy is worth the study, it deserves more than what they are selling. Good luck fixing your new toy. You can do it!

You are getting what you paid for ($10)
At first, I was looking for instructions and there were none. It took a moment to figure out where the battery actually went. Once I got the battery in, it took a bit to get the whole thing to close and have a level case. The spinner does feel cheap, but it works. Now, looking at the pictures from the advertisement, it is misleading as mine only spins in a very small triangle in the center. I choose this one because I was not sure if I wanted to spend $50+ for a different one. All in all, it works (continues to spin and spin) and I believe it will entertain the kids for a bit.

Great product and great value.
Great product and great value. This product was able to give me exactly what I wanted out of it. It was able to do this without causing any concern and overall made me happy. I am a happy consumer and will trust this seller from now on. The best

junk
I bought this for a birthday gift and it does not work. The person that I gave it to tried a couple of different batteries as I did but no good. It seems that now it is out of the return window because I bought it in late September and their birthday was November 10.
