Stainless Steel French Press Coffee Maker, 34-Ounce, Mesh

This was a great buy for the price! The filter works well and filters the coffee perfectly. There is not too much sediment, but just enough to give you that robust and strong "french press" cup of coffee. The class container also easily comes out of the metal frame, allowing for an easy clean, as opposed to the Bodum french press makers I have had prior that were nearly impossible to get the glass out of the frame without risking breaking the glass in your hand!

Great coffee but plunger broke after short time of usage.

Lasted a couple weeks before the threading broke loose from the plunger during use. I thought I had it re-secured and it happened again with the next use. Coffee is plunged only an inch or so. Whole unit is cheaply made, feels rickety and useless for its intended purpose. Once I get my coffee out, I might consider using it as a vase for wild flowers before I pitch it out.Edit: Turns out I never got to use it for a vase. It shattered when gently hand-washing.

Its not bad. I honestly bought this for the glass container where I brew tea and filter it using a mesh. The glass is of double borosilicate glass and holds up to heat. If you feel you want something better, than you will have to spend some more money for an expensive coffee press, but I think this one is ok.

This press is aan absolute time saver. You can get nicely brewed tea or coffee and maybe even hot chocolate, I don't know yet, within five minutes brew time. I have rather pudgy hands and my hands fit comfortably down the caref to pull out the grinds or leaves to clean. The only thing I do worry about is the thinness of the glass, which if cared for should hold up well because it is protected by the stainless steel frame, however once out, to clean, I would advise NO DISTRACTIONS until the job is done and to return it quickly to the holder as soon as possible for safety. Looks nice and is well worth the price.
