you can use a duel core 5420 gold or you can use ic or i5 or i7 i went with i5 6 core 8400 works well also check to make sure you have internal graphics and that you have an 8th or 9 gen series 300 , have a great day

Anyone able to get more than 10 cards working without issue? It works, but if it shuts down the 11th card ends up with a device manager error....

I had 11 and 12 running on mine at one point. I moved one off to another rig to balance off the power consumption. I did notice tho when I was breaching 10 cards stability issues can happen and I mainly blame the GPUS. I’m running mainly 20 serries on it, with various 10 serries cards and one 3060ti LHR. I did notice when I slapped on a random 1050Ti that was laying around as my 11th or 12th card it did make the rig unstable. I think because not only is it GDDR5 it’s also the only GPU under 6g of vram. Bottom line I strongly believe you can run 12 cards (I saw some people say they got up to 14). However the cards need to be as similar as possible for your OS to handle it. I’m using windows 10 Pro-n and I stripped windows down of all the junk programs it comes with.
