Rattler Metal Detector Headphones

Give 2 stars for working. The construction of the headphones are junk. Has a thin piece of foam on the side with no headphone. If you have a bigger head, like I do, the headphones will be too tight against your head. And don't spread them out too far apart putting them on, the plastic will break at the top. I got to use them for a while thirty minutes. But as far as sound, they do work. Volume control works and goes up high enough to actually hurt your ears.

Started out with nice loud volume volume decreased after one use.. Now can barely hear on loudest settings.. Tried my backup phones and they sound fine.. I am in the process of returning them...

Great piece of equipment for metal detecting in the southwest desert. Being able to hear what is going on around you is a lot safer. The smaller size of Mohave rattlers and Speckled rattlers makes their rattle softer and higher pitched than the bigger Diamondback rattlers and I think, a bit harder to hear. Having one ear open is important in warm weather. Quality of the Rattler headphone is great. Features are well thought out. Keep an ear open and be safe.

Pros:Very comfortable headphones. Clear with great sound, adjustable size, volume control knob and switch. Best headphones i have used yet!Cons: None that have anything to do with the actually operation of the product but maybe a slight bit more padding for the side without the headphone.

It works fine! That switch on the side is important for differnt detectors. Head band is slightly strong for my big oriental head otherwise it is perfect! I recommend this for lone deterctorist like me.

These headphones are awesome. I don't have issues with snakes in my area but i like to have one ear uncovered so i can hear whats going on around me. In the past with regular head phones i would always take them off or twist them on my head so i could hear outside noises. Plus regular headphones are so hot. These are the perfect mix for me anyway. I will never go back to regular headphones while detecting.

This is great for keeping an ear out for anything going on around you but still hearing your metal detector. The dedicated volume knob and the ear pad is great for all day wear.
