A few months ago, I bought a Casper mattress and new box springs as I'd suffered an injury and was stuck in bed. Anyway, a Casper is a memory foam mattress (think Tempurpedic - just as good, a fraction of the price) and so is already 'taller' than most mattresses. I then took advantage of Casper's free 3" mattress topper. This left me with a very tall mattress indeed! I ordered three separate brands of deep pocket sheets. Only one truly fit, but the cotton it was made of, and it's features, left a lot to be desired. The sheets slept far too warm and the fitted sheet only had elastic at the corners, causing it to 'pop off' the mattress nearly every day.I then stumbled on Royal Tradition. With nothing to lose, I ordered them. They were everything I was looking for! The 100% cotton material was crisp and slept cool. Even better, the elastic on the fitted sheet goes all the way around. It has never 'popped off' while I slept - or at any other time. I've been using this one pair of sheets exclusively since I bought them. I'll strip, wash, dry and make the bed all in one go. Soon I'll be buying another set, it's just I've already dropped over $250 on all of those sheets that let me down (I gave them all to my local St. Vincent DePaul - a sort of Catholic Goodwill). Can't recommend these highly enough for quality and value! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Updated: Scratchy, like a burlap bag. *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2016* I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but these sheets are very scratchy and not great build quality. The picture online looks so much smoother and silky than what I got, and what everyone else seems to be describing. It literately feels like a step or two above sleeping in a burlap bag. I wasn't expecting much from these as they were 300 count, but definitely don't seem to fit the reviews I'm seeing. Pretty disappointed.UPDATE:I was contacted by the manufacturer very shortly after posting the initial review. I was advised that I most likely got a bad batch. They sent out replacement sheets and I got them within 2 days. These sheets are everything they promised to be. Very silky smooth satin finish, cool, and just a really nice set of sheets all around. If your sheets don't fit this description I advise you to reach out to the manufacturer. The color is a light lavender with a gray hue. In the photo on my display the sheets appear to be much more gray than they are in person. The color is muted lavender and there is very little noticeable pink. They are lightweight and well made. You definitely will love these sheets.
