This headset is okay
This is a decent VR Headset. I have used several now from the cheapest to pretty expensive. This one falls slightly short of the average ones at the same price point. It’s not the best, but definitely not the worst that I have ever tried. The perks to this one is its comfortability and its ability to accommodate those of us who wear glasses. I would be able to keep these on my head much longer than some since they are so light weight and soft around my face with my prescription glasses on. They also have a unique and nice look to them. My phone can fit with its slim case on, but I have to take it out if its case when I have the thicker, heavier duty one on it. There is no button or remote with this and that is almost a must have in my opinion, but at least you can purchase a Bluetooth remote fairly inexpensively. To use this headset you simply place your phone onto the black spongy inside and line up your phones screen dividing line with the headsets dividing line and simply snap the lid shut. My phone stayed perfectly in place while I moved my head all around (sometimes frantically depending on what I was watching or playing) and while I made the necessary adjustments to the set. It is a very simple VR set and it performs its job just fine. I received a discount on this product for my truly honest opinion and review of it.

Entry Level 3D on a Budget
I want to preface this by saying that it was a preconceived notion these would not have much as far as features or control, but they are quite cool for the price and best suited for someone wanting to get a cheap glimpse at the VR world. I would not use these for gaming, only for entertainment, and they do allow you to experience VR. You have no controls to start, pause, or do anything else. You have to center your phone, then start the video and close it up. If you center it well you get really cool 3D and SBS (side-by-side) videos, plus the ability to focus or make a minor adjustment to one side or another.

Good focal adjustment
Careful with these....they are standard "Google Cardboard" glasses. They do not have "magnets" which are supposed to be able to stop and start your cell phone playback. I use a $12 remote for that, you can buy here on Amazon. Good focal adjustment, but the clip at the top, which is supposed to unlock it to flip down, is much too strong, and I broke it the first time I used it, so now I just use a rubber band to hold the case closed.IMHO, any Cardboard VR glasses must have the focal distance adjustment (the black screw knob you see on the side of these), since most VR videos on YouTube, or downloaded, or on XXX sites, have varying focal lengths....if you know a little about cameras (for example the old 35 mm Nikon Pre-digital cameras, or the same applies to ANY camera, even an autofocus, a camera is NOT like your eyes which instantly (as far as your brain can tell) autofocus. Cameras have a focus, and VR glasses also HAVE TO HAVE A FOCUS.....or you are wasting your money......
