Received a $99.00 High Tech BRICK!
Bought it as a Xmas present from me to me. Came almost fully charged. Connected it to my phone (Samsung G-Note 5) without any problems but playback cut out continuously. Tried it with my Treck HD tablet and Bluetooth connection came on and off. Since it was late, I decided to work on it the next day. Morning came and the speaker didn't turn on at all. Ended up with a brick right out the box. Keep in mind, this unit wasn't exactly cheap @ $99.00. Requested an RMA from Amazon. Will pay the extra $30.00 and order a JBL Charge 3 instead!

Pleasant surprise! Great speaker
I personally own Bang & Olufsen A9 and Definitive Bipo in wall stereo speaker. So when it comes to audio I have above average standard. And I was looking for a rugged portable speaker solution for my backyard, by the swing on deck. Came across TimoLabs Corbett line, find some good reviews, product looks cool and rugged, I decided to give it shot.Nice looking package, feels heavy too. Bluetooth connection is easier and faster than those wifi speakers. When turned up the volume, the sound pressure is surely blew me away. It is amazing such big sound coming from little enclosure like this. Sound quality wise, it is easy to tell that manufacturer is trying to tune speaker SPL curve to flat for general use purpose, it may sound flat to most of people at the beginning, and after a while you could feel that is the true representation of the sound. And all smartphone has EQ adjustment functions, finding your own sound characteristics should not be a big problem.Haven’t tested waterproof feature, but rainy season is coming, we will see soon enough. If quality holds, I will buy another one for stereo.

The Angle is so much better for less than half the price
Will not charge. Just tried 6 different cables. Occasionally, a flash. Why Have I kept it around? Why didn't I send it back? On the very rare occasion a sound did come out, it was drab and 2 dimensional. The Angle is so much better for less than half the price. As another reviewer mentioned, who gave it 5 stars, they must have quality control problems. In this cut throats competitive market place, you get no second chance.

buy it now, I've had many bt speakers this one feels like it's built like a tank and sounds great and I love the headless playback.

Outstanding speaker with outside added bonus.
Rugged all weather proof speaker. Clear audio quality that I've left in the elements in my back yard for months at a time. Before any event/party charge over night and played 60% power, never died at 6+ hour functions.It has survived now two kayak flips (fresh water) and one drunken pool swim/dip.Spent $100+ on soundbar for my TV, and this tiny thing is louder and clearer then the friggin' soundbar!Worth every penny, must have for beach outings.*Never used call feature, no comment on that.
