Replaced single cylinder deadbolts with these. Pretty straightforward to get into place, but with all some assembly required projects, make sure the parts line up and don't force them. There are interlocking forks to these, so it takes some tight-space maneuvering to get them into place. I am impressed at the length of the locking slide.FYI: If you get one in and one of the locks does not turn. Take it off the door. Hold off the door. Turn the lock that would not turn with the key. Put it back together. In layman's terms, that lock was at its last turn.

Seems like a good lock. The door plate does not exactly line up with the old plate cutout (plate is slightly smaller), and using the old screw holes causes the deadbolt bolt to be slightly misaligned with the door handle latch. Working the strike plate and moving it around helps.Overall - this is a good lock. Just wish I would have installed it first (instead of the other deadbolt).

I ordered two locks. One worked fine the other had an issue with the inside cylinder bolt holes being to small for the bolts to go through. The bolts fit the outside cylinder, so for some reason the bolt holes are too small on inside cylinder. The same bolts work on the other lock and the bolts from the other lock have the same issue on with this cylinder. Very poor quality control for such an expensive lock.

I purchased 4 of these to replace existing deadbolt locks. As advertised, they fit the existing holes without exception. They are heavy duty, and work smoothly. Great price and my shipping method was upgraded by the seller, so I received them earlier than estimated, and was able to install all of them in one afternoon! Very pleased with this purchase!

Arrived with USPS priority mail in TWO days!! Awsome response. Lock went in just like the directions. The lock feels almost 2x the weight of the schlage that it replaced - SOLID!

The dead bolts work well and there's the added bonus that no one nearby is likely to have any keys that could unlock our doors.

I bought this lock because I live in an apartment complex in a neighborhood that sees a really high amount of theft and break-ins. I am not expecting this thing to prevent a break-in altogether, but it should make it significantly more difficult seeing as I am on the second floor and have barricaded or barred all windows. Was considering a BiLock, but this was $100 cheaper. Best way to keep someone from picking your lock is to get an unexpected lock.As for the lock itself, the build quality is really nice, really solid. When I removed the standard kwikset it really seemed like a joke in comparison, the bit containing the lock cylinder was hollow apart from the cylinder and looked easily breakable from not being particularly thick metal. this one seems to contain quite a bit in the part of the unit that is outside the door, and doesn't seem like a few whacks with a hammer would do anything.Extra keys are not convenient to acquire, but this should be expected with higher security. It took 3-4 days total from placing the call to get more keys to actually getting them, which is a pretty good time considering the return address is all the way from PR. Compared to the Schlage Primus keys used at my dad's apartments for the main entrance which are $12 replacement, ~$7 is pretty good.
